You should definetly get this if it's on sale. A great story driven walking sim with an amazing artstyle and soundtrack.

An excellent sci-fi story. If you enjoy games like SOMA, I think you'll enjoy this as well. The story is very compelling, you have quite a few options, and the aesthetic/visuals/sound are all fantastic. It does a great job at conveying scale, which many games fail to do. I will say that the story is perhaps the weakest in the last third, where you kind of already have solved the mysteries and are sort of wrapping it up. I haven't read the novel, but it's very possible that issue comes from there. On a technical note - absolutely run this in DX11 mode and not DX12. I got much higher (+80 FPS) performance in that mode, and DX12 had a weird square/checkered pattern issue on the ground. I know some people have complained of bad performance, I suspect this is why. Overall, strong recommend if you enjoy sci-fi and are ok with something more focused on mystery and dialog and walking sims.
