Incroyable
The gameplay loop of identifying the characters in a given timeline at a certain location is satisfying. I just felt like the story could have maintained the suspense and strong plot until the end. The middle part of the story has been dragged for too long where it's less like 'whodunit' and more like 'who's next' as you already know the pattern and reason why things happen. Nevertheless, I'd still recommend the game for detective and puzzle game enjoyers.
super engaging puzzle mechanic and the story twist, at first, i thought was kinda like eh whatever. but once i saw how they played it out in the game i really enjoyed it and the implications of what this type of "madness" or "magic" is going on. i had such a fun time!!!! really made my brain work lol.
Truly excellent mystery story game, for those who appreciate a well-written story with twists and turns and surprises, that nevertheless maintains a logical consistency. Nothing happens "just for a beat in the story" but it's all interwoven. Not every detail is perfectly explained, either, but no interesting or important thread is left hanging due to laziness as some lesser story games might do. The story is wrapped up well enough to be very satisfying and the road to getting there is very enjoyable. The mechanic of how to play the game is somewhat annoying at first: but part of the game is figuring out how to play the game, and once again, this is not due to laziness, but has a real significance to the story itself. I highly recommend sticking with it. This is a game that will reward you for doing so. Only one minor complaint: The screen sizing and alignment mechanism is off. It won't just size to a fullscreen window. It will take an exclusive fullscreen, or use your full desktop resolution in a window that then hangs off the edges of the screen a bit, or it can be made way smaller than the screen. I played this on Linux with an unusual GDE, but sizing to a maximized window is pretty basic functionality to be missing, especially in this era of multi-monitors. Proton or whatever played it just fine, and it wasn't a huge deal, just a small part of the screen chopped off, it's just that the game was missing basic window sizing and resolution options that it really should have.
