I loved this game. It's a good supernatural "whodunit". If you loved The Roottrees Are Dead--or any other "mystery + feels" game like Obra Dinn or Edith Finch--you should get this game, if only to support the developers. But... B U T . . . You ever come across a game that frustrates you, not because of what the game does, but what it could have done? This is that game for me. This game could have been an absolute all-time classic if they just did a handful of things better. Like if they paid the artist to draw the characters sitting, or if they added a couple red herrings to make things less obvious or easy to brute force, or if they added puzzles beyond figuring out the timeline, or... It just seems like they came so close to being literally one of the best mystery games of all time that I can't help but bemoan the wasted potential here. It's relatively short (6-12 hours) and once you get a third of the way through the game gets exponentially easier until the final third. The interface is pretty good--all-things considered--but you will never use certain features like the notes or reminders because they are absolutely unnecessary since the game is so short and the rest of the interface is good. In summation: I loved this game, will certainly make others play it, but... still... this could have literally been one of the greatest games of all time with just a bit more polish.
Bon jeu d'enquête. Pas très compliqué mais bien scénarisé. Un petit plaisir !
This is a very clever game, and I highly recommend it
A really solid game. A bit less of a sprawling mystery than The Roottrees are Dead, but has its own interesting take on the genre. It feels like it's petering out towards the end of the timeline since the story is narrowing down before things pick up again.
I spent a long time with this game on my Wishlist, unsure if I would enjoy the mechanics. Decided to give it a try and holy f*ck I was sucked in. If you're thinking about playing this, do it. The mechanics are fun and interesting, it scratches the detective itch, but really it's the story that keeps you. The plot is so rich I couldn't stop playing until I had every piece of it. Play the game.
amazing, amazing story and gameplay. can't write much without spoiling, but this was my first mystery game and i loved it!
really enjoyed this game - did find the ending a bit confusing in that I suddenly finished the game but wanted to go back and find more scenes, but then when i found the rest I expected a "full" ending which never came. kind of wish that maybe they let you know when you're about to trigger the ending scene? but yes really cool game overall, would recommend.
