The Immaculate Drag

i wanted to like this game and was sure i was going to, but i'm almost certain it's made by AI. something is just off about it and not in a good way.

The game is just an excuse to get you to read six pages of gibberish noir prose poetry, while occasionally you muse to yourself in the same manner. The style is 80s neon, though the only locations are your motel room, small lobby, tiny stretch of road, and the lighthouse. The handful of npcs you talk to are also an excuse to hear more noir gibberish, though you get some multiple choice on how to respond to these so called deep thoughts. The repetitive musical theme is reminiscent of the DS game Hotel Dusk, which is a good thing. You should play THAT game. It has interesting characters, a great story, and really captures the time period. I would have finished this game sooner and probably returned it, but I was high at the time so I mostly stared at the pages for way longer than they deserved.

the game is really short, even for 100% completion BUT it has such good vibes that it is absolutely worth a purchase even at full price. it's called the immaculate drag because it makes the idea of taking a drag off a cig feel truly immaculate. the game covers some intriguing themes and stuff that will make you think long after you finish the game.

Immaculate vibes. Good conversation. Great atmosphere. Almost makes me want to take up smoking.

An interesting experience by a small indie dev. An enjoyable story and good overall feel. Welldone!

Nice script and good vibes. Man, this game is such a gem. The style and music were perfect. I hope the developer makes more games, Because i am eager to see what else they can do.
