I find the killer to be extremely frustrating in Chapter 1. It feels like you need to be absolutely perfect to escape them, I found myself constantly dying for a while. Once I got the hang of it, I could do it consistently, but I feel like it takes the horror out of it since it forces me to be perfect to go and hide... I would prefer if the killer took a bit longer to enter a new room, even 1 second would be enough. Once that's done though, I kept having this problem where I would enter the hallway, the killer would be there, I would hide and he'd go away, but when I'd go through the hallway he'd be there again and I'd have to do it all over again. The house isn't that big so I found myself constantly hiding in the same closet, doing the same song and dance over and over again. It gets pretty annoying, he spawns far too aggressively. Toning it down would be nice, but more ideal would be having it so that he can't spawn in the same room twice in a row... would save a lot of time. While I complained about the chases in Chapter 1 I do think Chapter 2 was missing it... I would've liked at least one, very rare chases, it was missing a little something... but overall Chapter 2 has a pretty cool environment and I like it being more character driven. I do think the puzzles are short and easy, but they're fun enough. I found using a magnet on the bathtub to be pretty absurd but it's funny. I found the morse code puzzle in Chapter 2 to be very frustrating since the VHS effects and scanlines heavily obscure the cheat sheet for the morse code... it should be bigger, or higher up, or even an item that you could inspect up close. The writing is my favorite part of the game, it's quite funny at times, makes me wish there was more dialogue honestly lol. I also believe the main menu image is AI generated and I don't really care for that, especially since the main model used for the killer is way cooler than it. If there's a part 3 planned I would love to see it, I'd definitely return to this game again, I just think the issues mentioned in Chapter 1 should be addressed.
Prolly will make a video on this game soonish, but in short of what i say in my video, the game is pretty short, especially for 5 $. I think the only way the price tag makes sense for the game is under the assumption that paying for the game, it also buys the player the future chapters. Still very fun and I like to support indie devs. Keep it up. Ill post it on my channel
cringe is key
but hate self promo so i spoilered my channel name. IDK if u can edit reviews but maybe ill put the link to the video here if i remember.
fun survival horror game :)
We need a part 3 in this game!!! PArt 1 and PArt 2 in this game goes over the hideout and Dr who held The faceless killer in the aslyum. Solve puzzles and run from the killer. Short and fun survival horror game https://youtu.be/X37seGBsaxs
I really liked this game but would have been happier if I had ended at the end of Chapter 1, instead of moving to Chapter 2. I thought Chapter 1 was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the ending of Chapter 2 did not add as much as I was hoping for, so I'd have been perfectly satisfied ending at Chapter 1.
honestly it was pretty fun . it is very ruff around the edges but that gives it that indie charm .the story isn't the best but its interesting enough to keep me invested . Now i hope the creator adds more content as while i had fun,6$ seems like a bit much for this game .but i will still be looking forward for chapter 3
The indie horror scene is quite crowded with retro flavored walking sims, so it's always nice to find new titles that work in a bit more survival horror influence. If you're up for a quick challenge, give this one a shot please! FULL PLAYTHROUGH: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afylp-b2Zo8
