The Empathy Algorithm

A short visual novel with an interesting premise, it really makes one question the nature of humanity. Took me a couple attempts to get every ending, but it felt like real progress to end in a Success. The Easter Egg that plays in the menu is probably my favourite part, more games need to add such details. I'd love to see a follow-up story that's longer than this, it's a great proof of concept, but it really leaves the player wanting more of this world and characters. Either way, I wish the dev good luck in all their future projects.

Man, I like when I discover free VN with interesting premise. This one doesn't take long, and if you willing to engage with the story ([spoiler]which is trying to sus out who's who[/spoiler]), then the expirience is worth it.

Small but entertaining visual novel drama.

Interesting first work. And raises a lot of really disturbing questions. I hope you keep writing. It was worth playing : )

Very clever! The voice acting is wonderful. I recommend not reading the description nor the trailer. Once I decide I am going to watch a game or movie, I skip the trailer. I want to have no expectations, and everybody should be like me. :-) I recommend turn off cinematic text -- use instant text. Otherwise hitting the space bar too many times may or may not clip the ending of a sentence. Instant mode means you can hit the space bar just once when you have read ahead if you are a fast reader. This is a lot of fun! Not sure what all the endings are, no one has published that yet. I believe I stopped playing too early as others are saying there are credits. I guess I'll just have to play again but using the skip button.
