Nah, don't waste your time.

it's a beautiful game. There are so many options for how you want to play, from casual to hardcore monster fights to pvp. You have guilds for just about anything the game has to offer. Housing to win or buy and decorate.. tons of quests to do and different 'lands' to do them. I'm not that great at pvp or super talented in fighting, but I do well enough and enjoy the heck out of the time I play this game. Try it out.

this is THEE BIGGEST memory hog i've ever witnessed. this game demands over a 5th of a terabyte just to install. and if you go and wipe years of memories off your hardrive just to play it, it's still dodgy rather you can log in or just randomly get kicked. also make sure your character is 100% how you like it or expect to waste more on dlc priced heavier than the base game itself just to change a hair style

Disappointing addition to the TES universe that appeals a lot to a certain community. Not worth the time or money. Play the multiplayer morrowind that was made by a passionate team instead if you want a good TES multiplayer experience.

If you want to play a game like this one's deceptively advertised as, play Warframe, it's 100% free to play, nothing beyond cosmetics is locked behind paywalls, and it has a kind and welcoming community. Instead, Elder Scrolls Online spoonfeeds you unfulfilling content, directly and forcefully demands your money if you want to not suffer and in turn gives you ashes and dust masquerading as "quality content". Once, I held this game dearly, because it was just close enough to being a game I've always wanted, but far enough away to be repulsive and miserable. Then I found Warframe, which basically is everything Elder Scrolls Online makes itself out to be, offers far better content, and if you do want to pay them (it's 100% optional and not necessary), you actually get something worth your while. PvP ist Hacker verseucht und gar nicht spielbar wer nur PvE machen will ja kann man spielen aber von PvP würde ich die Finger lassen

ESO was my very first MMO and I've spent so much time and money on this game. I've also made SO many awesome friends along the way, including some of the awesome folks that created it! I had the privilege of playing with some of the most talented, funny, smart, and generous people -- things I can't say for other gaming communities. The love and passion that went into this game has been felt for at least a decade and firing the team that made it special really exemplifies the time we're in. RIP to quality games, may hubris swallow microsoft.

自分のような ・TESシリーズの世界観が好き ・お使いクエストの連打も特に苦にならない ・クエストを追うことで当時の各種族の文化風俗を知ることに楽しみを見いだせる ・重視するのはシナリオであってアクション性や難易度的な歯ごたえにはそこまで重きを置いていない といった人にはお勧め 逆に、上記に当てはまらない人にとっては、はっきり言って「古くて不便で単調なゲーム」なのでセールで600円前後になっていたとしてもお勧めはできません 実際10年以上前の古いゲームなのでしょうがない点はありますが、最近のゲームに慣れているとかなりキツい部分は多いです 15年前基準で見ても不自然なキャラクターのダッシュモーション、アイテム採取の度に強制下馬+そこそこ長いモーションが入るテンポの悪さ、不便で使い辛い上にミニマップすらないUI、ネトゲという仕様上他にやりようがないとはいえ単調な戦闘、等々…… そして課金周りについてですが よく目にする「ESOは無課金でも快適に遊べる」的な謳い文句 これは確かに嘘ではない 嘘ではないが実質欺瞞と言っていい このゲームはアイテムの種類に対してインベントリ・倉庫の容量があまりにも狭く、クラフト素材を拾っているとすぐインベントリがパンクする 消耗品や素材アイテムの取捨選択の知識を持っている人、すでにインベントリ・倉庫の拡張が終わっている人、そもそもクラフト系に一切手を出さずスパッと切り捨ててる人なら無課金でもなんとかなる、かも？ くらいのキツさ はっきり言って知識のない者にはまず無理な話であり、初心者はすぐにパンクするインベントリに常に悩まされ、何かクエストを1つクリアする度に足止めされるような状況になります この問題を解決してくれるのが月額課金システムESO PLUSの目玉機能、クラフト素材を無限に収納できるバッグになるわけですが 要するにこれは、本来クエストに集中して挑む為に最初からあってしかるべき機能、これを課金への誘導の為に人質に取られているような形なわけで 所詮30日2000円程度の出費とはいえ非常に、非常に印象が悪い とはいえ、音声まで含めて日本語フル対応、翻訳の質も買い切りのFOやTESの誤訳塗れ固有名詞までめちゃくちゃのガバガバぶりに比べたらかなりちゃんとしている、何より通常のTESシリーズではなかなか知ることができない物事に触れられる等 良い部分も色々あるので、自分にとっては「やってみてよかったゲーム」なんですよね
