Çevrelerindeki rüya dünyasını manipüle etme ve başkalarına yardım etme veya zarar verme güçlerine sahip güçlü varlıklar olan Scapers olarak oynayın. İlginç bir deneyim ve güzel bir fikir.
This makes me rethink my opinion on League of Legends. This is like a skeleton for the base of a game. I think we need to buff the dude with the airplane. I also believe that most human beings can't take 20 bullets to the head, however I may just be built weak I guess. Kinda reminds me of Hog Hunter 2021. On a positive note, I like the small parkour obby. :). This got the "cart ride into spigglepop" vibes.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"The Dreamscape | Open Beta" is basically just a third person shooter but the developer tried to infest it with AI slop... at face value it's just a basic third person shooter kitbash with a rather sad premise of being a "scaper" in "dreamscapes" which implies crafting gameplay and so on... what's implemented is a train wreck, this does not even get close to the pointless, nebulous promise made by the developer, who was pushing AI slop at gamers. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. The graphics here are particularly awful, stock textures, flipped looking assets and AI slop... this is appalling and should never have been published, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now onto pricing and value. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Nope. There's no up front cost here, but I still feel like I got ripped off, and I didn't even spend any money. That's how bad this is. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere. AI models are trained on copyrighted intellectual property without permission from the owners. Using AI slop in a published product should be seen as supporting these copyright violations.
After giving this game a try, it's clear that it has so much potential to be an amazing shooter! First off, I absolutely love the concept. It feels fresh and original, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual recycled storylines we see from big studios. You can really tell the developer put thought into it, and I genuinely appreciate that. The characters, too, are a standout, each one has their own unique personality and skillset, and it definitely adds more life and depth to the game. Now, I do want to mention something as a small artist myself: while I understand why AI-generated art was used, I personally feel it takes away from the charm and soul of hand-drawn, human-made art. I totally get that a small team with limited funding might find it tough to hire a full-time artist (especially one with high compensation expectations), but I do think that bringing in a human artist to rework the AI-generated images in the future could help the game a lot. Not only would it likely make the visuals more cohesive, but it would also make more players feel more comfortable supporting the game. Plus, the overall aesthetic would just look cleaner, more polished, and better aligned with the game’s vibe. As for the gameplay itself, I did run into a few minor bugs, but it was mostly a smooth experience overall! The graphics are solid, and I didn’t encounter any frame drops, which is always a win. The shooting mechanics felt good, though I think adding a reload sound, moving the ammo count to a corner (like other shooters), and showing visible bullets coming out of the gun would make things feel even more polished. One small inconvenience: I couldn’t find a way to go back to the main menu from the practice range, so I had to fully close out the game to get back. Not a dealbreaker, but something to consider. There also aren't a ton of features just yet (it's still in beta, after all), so I’m really excited to see how the game evolves over time! Overall, I love the direction this game is heading, and I can feel the passion behind it! I’m definitely rooting for The Dreamscape, can’t wait to see what comes next!
*The Dreamscape | Open Beta* presents a fascinating concept where you step into the shoes of Scapers, entities with the power to manipulate the dream world, and navigate a strange and shifting environment filled with mysteries and challenges. The premise of exploring a dream world, interacting with NPCs, and finding powerful items known as Cores creates a promising foundation for an intriguing experience. The game encourages experimentation, offering various tools like Beacons and Crafting Stations to shape your journey. You’ll need to activate Beacons to escape the collapsing Dreamscape, adding a sense of urgency and excitement to the exploration. It’s clear that the game has ambitions to offer a dynamic, engaging environment with plenty of room for experimentation. However, *The Dreamscape* currently feels like it’s in an early, experimental phase. The AI-generated content, especially for icons and items, is a bit of a mixed bag. While it doesn’t drastically hinder gameplay, it does occasionally feel disconnected or generic, taking away from the overall immersion. The parkour and obstacle course segments add some fun, but they can feel disconnected from the core exploration experience, which is focused on dreaming and manipulating the environment. The game shows promise with its creative idea, but it also feels rough around the edges. The lack of polish in some areas, such as visuals and mechanics, makes it feel like a skeleton of a larger game rather than a fully fleshed-out experience. While the concept is intriguing, the execution still has a long way to go to fully captivate players. In its current state, *The Dreamscape* is an interesting experiment but doesn’t yet offer the depth or consistency needed to keep players engaged for long. It may appeal to those curious about its mechanics or those eager to explore its unique premise, but anyone looking for a polished, complete experience might be disappointed. The potential is there, but the game needs more time to develop into something truly compelling.
