About
Transform an abandoned trading outpost on a desert planet into a hub for the galaxy's mercenaries, scheming nobles, smugglers, traders, adventurers, and all manner of patrons. Everyone's welcome - as long as they've got a few Gobards to spend.
Build grand dining halls, busy kitchens, and outdoor gardens where exotic crops thrive. Design a menu that caters to the diverse preferences of your alien clientele. Optimize your interior design to navigate rush hours and hungry guests. Hire literally anyone who walks through your doors in order to staff your diner with the best cooks, gardeners, servers, and crafters in the Nusa star system.
Making customers of different factions happy rewards you with Faction Points that can not only be used to request a visit from their traders, buy special objects and build special rooms - it also allows you to request a faction to invade a region of the galaxy. Earn monthly rewards for each successful invasion you fund!
Take control over every single aspect of your influential new canteen as you build up from nothing. Unlock and master over 50 recipes with over 13 key ingredients using 3 cooking methods to experiment with as you learn what aliens like (and definitely don’t like) through trial and error.
You’ll have tons of tools at your disposal to make your own unique diner with your own uniquely weird menu.
Sure, the galaxy may or may not have been reduced to ruin and rubble by the war. Depends who’s asking. But there's plenty of riches waiting out there for those enterprising enough to look for them. Assemble a crew, send out expeditions to distant worlds to get rare crops, and make your diner truly special as you exert your influence on the solar system.

I am quietly developing my Diner at the End of the Galaxy, but of course, on its very first voyage, my spaceship is LOST IN SPACE. 😂 Even in early access, The Diner at the End of the Galaxy is fun! I think this game is definitely the kind of game I could lose nights over. 😁
Played the demo of this game and enjoyed it. I'm glad its out!! I do love me my management games!! I can't wait to play more so i can expand and get better at layouting LOL i love the art and the overall concept of the game, not to mention that the voice acting!! still lots of room for improvement while i decorate and make my diner optimized hehehe
Interesting tavern manager game that includes having your team go on expeditions. It also has a conquering part, where you fund other factions to invade areas to get you more resources. The game has a steep learning curve at the start but once you get the hang of it, you'll be cruising in no time. Art and music is on point.
Real neat management game! It's pretty well polished and I appreciate the many details within the game's content. I love: + Combining ingredients and cooking methods to form recipes which you use to customize your menu. + Farming (growing my ingredients) + Renovating my diner so many times due to my inability to plan well. It's quite a bit to manage over time and the game does keep you busy. Looking forward to future updates for better QOL. There were very few issues (trying the game on launch) but none game breaking!
its a game that can get really fast and stresfful sometimes, so i'm playing on easy mode currently. i'm learning the mechanics a bit more and actually finding it really interesting. The Fame mechanic is quite nice, i'm glad the devs implemented limits so that my Fame doesn't drop to 0 when customers get angry (a bunch of customers got angry after i deleted a dining hall and my Fame dropped really low, but at least it didn't go to 0). still learning but enjoying the game so far!
heard about the game from a friend, tried it out, didn't expect much but actually pretty fun. hope the devs keep working on it, i can see lots of room for QOL improvements. but for its price, it's worth it. lots of content already.
Game looked nice with a few interesting twists on the genre. I couldn't get past the extremely unpleasant sound effects of the UI: they're too loud, too obnoxious, too high-pitched. This is a detail that won't probably matter for a lot of players, but if you have any kind of sound sensitivity, you're in for a bad experience. Devs acknowledged that feedback (right after release) on social networks, but it never got corrected, which hints at the game not longer being actively supported, which means I cannot recommend it for now.
I’ve got to play the demo prior to the release. Although some of the bugs from the demo still persist in the early access. Would I still play it? Absolutely! As a restaurant simulator and management game, I do feel like the game would benefit a lot from having the bugs fixed and simplifying mechanics like crafting, farming, distilling and “foraging / scavaging”. The game is trying to do so many things at once, and, I feel, so does the player. I’ve played the game on easy mode to get a good sense of the game and its capabilities. Although I love the concept and what it’s trying to do or make the players do, you are either impaired by a bug or a complicated series / sequence of clicks and menus to complete an intended player action on the board. For new players, this might be a little complicated to start, but once they get going the sky’s the limit. I would agree with other reviewers that the game would benefit greatly by improving or by making QoL changes. As someone who loves farming and cooking games, it would be nice to see more plants to cultivate and grow, and a better way to identify what food can be made without having to guess and input random items until I get a recipe I can serve to my patrons. TL;DR The Diner at the End of the Galaxy is a fun restaurant management simulator with rustic space cowboy vibes. It’s a little complicated to go through in the beginning, but once you’ve settled in, you’re in it til’ galaxy’s end. 7/10 overall. I do hope the developers would listen to feedback and release a patch that would improve the game’s QoL.
