The Coffin of Andy and Leyley

I feel like this game is overhated. It has a quite complex yet well-constructed story with some themes I wouldn't normally see in other VNs. I would say that multiple aspects of this game is great like the soundtrack, the gameplay, the story. The strongest aspect might be the characters. Their interactions are so well-written. I can't think of any parts which could be improved honestly. This game is great as is although I'm looking forward to more updates in the future!

This game ticks a ton of my boxes. Subjectively, I love the dialogue, aesthetic, puzzles, and narrative influence from the player. The subjects explored in the story are dark but compelling, and the characters are very realized and human. Objectively the game is rather polished and functional, controls are adequate and don't feel clunky (there's even a movement speed slider in the menu if you don't want to spend too long walking around), and my only complaint is that it isn't complete yet and my first ending was not fully developed. Don't skip the trigger warnings, but don't dismiss this game because of the fandom or aesthetic; it's very well-made and there's a lot to engage with.
