It's extremely boring! The story doesn't flow well. I couldn't play this in one-sitting, it just made me sleepy and had to take naps in between. It's the first time I've ever played a visual novel where they broke the text in several parts mid-sentence. Very odd! It doesn't enhance the reading and we need to keep going back and search where it ended before, to keep on reading the next part of the text. I couldn't understand in what time it takes place... it has some kind of Neo-Edwardian age vibes. The imps were something strange that we can't fully understand how it works. Overall, I didn't enjoy this. It's just very, very weird, and not even a good weird! By the end, when we start the investigation and questioning people, the pace gets better and I didn't hate the endings. But, until reaching that point, you need an extra dose of patience to endure the game and be resilient to wanting to finish it. I wouldn't recommend this game, unless you have been through insomnia lately and need desperately to find a way to fall asleep. I think it's the only scenario where I could recommend this game and see some usefulness to it. Other than that, simply avoid it! However, The Case of the Serialized Killer has a lot of good reviews and I honestly don't get it! Maybe, it's just not for me or all the others that didn't like it, fell asleep and gave up entirely on the game, not even bothering to write a review saying how boring it is.

I love the watercolor artstyle and the characters each have their own wonderful personalities (except you Nowak, sign those divorce papers already). Short game with a nice little fairly-straightforward mystery, perfect to get through in one afternoon.

I too want all the genders
The art is great, but the writing is awful in my opinion. First I've started skipping unseen text to progress the story, but even so, very soon, I could not continue reading and quit. (It's not my first visual novel...)
Really cute and fun; lovely art style and wonderful characters; really interesting designs and lore! Highly recommend!
The art and characters are charming and vibrant. The worldbuilding is absolutely fascinating, leaving plenty of gaps that could be filled in with a sequel if the developer felt up to it. It's a short game and worth every minute of your time. The actual investigation phase stutters a little and the mystery itself isn't much of a puzzle, so go into this one interpreting it more as a visual novel than any kind of puzzle-solving game. I would play a sequel in a heartbeat.
mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah. short detective story in a supernatural setting. utterly loved the worldbuilding, somewhat reminiscent of his dark materials to me. as little as a fan of detective stories i am, the humour and good writing of character dynamics between the protagonists kept me engaged all the way through. the story is less of a point-and-click and more of a typical linear VN, though there are some point-and-click elements in the second half. if there's one thing i wished for it would be a more detailed conclusion of the relationship than the drop-through we got in the true ending, but alas. what progression and conflict we got i was very much satisfied with. bit baffled at those of the reviews that blame the writing of being not well-thought or repetitive, but to each their own (PLAY THE PREQUEL AS WELL!!) also i got the killer right the first time around. be proud of me. :3
Enjoyable game! Nice visuals and representation, enjoyed the story. Super grateful I stopped at the booth during Comic Con to hear about your game! Nice job to the team who put this together! Give yourselves a good pat on the back for making a beautiful game!
BRO THIS WAS SUCH A FUN VN TO PLAY!!! The characters are so fun esp the mc's, i wish i get to see some images of some things but it's already pretty good too! Love the concept of the imps and the setting! :D
