Znakomita gra - trudna, ale bardzo wciągająca. Polecam!
The Case Of Andrew D. is an innovative mystery game that straddles a perforated line between alternate reality and video game. This weird game is a heady challenge worthy of folks with patience who want an experience that blurs the experiences of fictional mystery solvable by real-world tools. The game looks like a 90’s-style piece of info management software with notes, files, and databases sorted by private investigation case. Set in and around Warsaw, Poland, the game blends fictional cases and evidence with real-world digital sleuthing to create an experience that feels like a virtual escape room played on the public internet. The Case Of Andrew D. employs a one-of-a-kind mechanic - a temporary file folder that deposits pdfs, jpegs, and other benign computer files into your computer for more in-depth examination and investigation using real-life tools. I will not lie to you: this game is hard. Part of playing this game is real skill- and knowledge-building in OSINT, which can further blur the line between play and work, but it comes with the unique feeling of learning something valuable and relevant in today's age of hyper-exposure to privacy risks. I wouldn't recommend this game for casual gamers, but if you want a hardcore experience that leaves you feeling like a digital detective, The Case of Andrew D. is an uncut gem, a real piece of art game that feels like real investigative work.

Really cool and unique experience. It's hard to call it a game, let alone a puzzle game, and it's for sure not for everyone. But if this appeals to you, you will love it. I finished the main case, but I was satisfied to stop playing the game leaving a few cases unfinished. Given that, my main criticisms are: - While most cases are fine, some rely a bit too much on knowledge of Warsaw, or Polish nuances, for it to come naturally to non-Polish audiences - The nature of OSINT means that some puzzles get significantly harder from just a random update of google - A more robust hint system built into the game would have been good, especially given the above points - Relatedly, the developer's discord should not be used as the primary source for hints. While it means you get more direct responses, it is not a public forum, and it is much harder to search for specific hints as a third party
