The Amazing Shinsengumi: Heroes in Love

Right off the bat, I admit that I'm not the biggest fan of mobile versions of these type of games. That being said, though, I usually do enjoy playing the Dogenzaka Lab games. Even if they definitely aren't anything special or high quality. I do like this game's setting and I do like each of the characters. I do enjoy the art and like the tiny bit of spice added here and there. However, I can't remember the last time I was so utterly bored while playing a visual novel. I'll only recommend this for the collecting type of gamer, certainly not for newbies to the genre or those expecting to actually get a good game for their money. If you reeeaaally need to find out if this is any good yourself.. do yourself a favor and buy it during a sale.

一开始看到也是新选组题材所以买了来玩，想着这公司剧情大概就当个娱乐游戏。但这剧本是我没想到的 （而且女主这默认名字是不是还在这公司其他游戏里出现过？？） 来吐槽永仓新八线 真的大无语，女主给我的感觉就是个恋爱脑。这翻译这剧情你叫东北灭火队算了草。 我第一次见到乙女游戏让我有不喜欢的感觉的女主。 女主后期也是问得出来，我和新选组的同伴哪个更重要。这家伙内心活动还挺丰富的 我：？？？？？？？ 剧情给我感觉她也很依赖永仓新八，麻烦你自己想想办法好不好？？？ 个人感想：虽然是新选组题材也是那些人的名字。但关系真的感觉没多大……迷惑点真的太多 人设几乎都往极度OOC方向去了。 考据党快跑。除了翻译好笑这点，其他几乎都挺雷（……） 当然想当娱乐玩不带脑子也没事。 个人不是很推荐滴……但买了就把它玩完吧。steam也只有推荐和不推荐惹所以没办法……勉强给推荐。

还只玩了一点，看脸入的，但是bgm搭配的也太奇怪了，毫无氛围很尴尬很重复，bgm之间根本就是硬转毫无衔接，很影响观感

[prepare bit of heated review(which i never really type reviews, also slash warning/spoilers to heisuke's route)] So this is being written after doing like 1.8 story. finished okita (which was short and overly simple but fine as it was) and tried heisuke with only 3 options left before the end but i just full on shut it off. I LOVE hakuoki, iv played the psp version years ago and played all of the first kinda remake and a bit of the 2nd part of that. If you are looking at this and hakuoki do yourself a huge favor and get hakuoki. The stories are really lengthy so def bang for your buck and has lots of historical points and info inside it. It goes on sale for a lot ususaly so its cheap to get both. But back to this game. I get phone visual novels and such lot of the time are short or cliche or have weird angles they try to justify the story they play. But while playing heisuke's story (well try to) just now, i just cant. I cant at all give a pass or any justification for practically forced sexual acts/rape, It is a a sad excuse of "live in the moment, could die tomorrow!" ppl are dying all around its not sexy time. And its not even sexy time with it all forced even after struggle. A person acting as a kid and "innocent" does not make that ok. I was so hoping it would let you slap him to get him to wake up but no, the "correct" answer is its fine or you actually want it too when it shows her trying to struggle and he keeps forcing it. I am just baffled by how it tried to do his story to point i just cant read that bull of his story any further. I may try the others to see if they have any hope of having some ounce of substance but god. I figured i wouldn't like heisuke's story most due to his personality compared to the rest but no way was I prepared for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i read.

I just love all romance games where I have a lot of choices for love interests and even though the story has been used for several different games, I still enjoy it every time.
