The Adventurous Four jest to ''gra'' która przedstawia sequel do pewnej książki zwanej ,,Wild Island Quest''. Tak naprawdę to nie musicie czytać tej książki, bo we wstępie jest wszystko w miarę wytłumaczone kto jest kim, lecz na pewno lepsza zabawa by była gdybyś znał/a lore tego całego uniwersum. Cóż, ja jej nie przeczytałam więc będzie to recenzja nie uznająca historii z Wild Island Quest. Historia opowiada o czwórce przyjaciół z których jeden, genialny naukowiec wynalazł coś na wzór latającego statku. Paczka postanawia wykorzystać ten wynalazek do pojechania sobie na wakacje. Oczywiście podczas podróży pojawiają się problemy i muszą sobie z nimi poradzić. Cóż tak naprawdę nie wiem czy mogę nazwać to jakkolwiek grą, ponieważ większość gameplayu to samo czytanie i od czasu do czasu pojawiają się dwie opcje do wybrania. Sama historia jest dosyć krótka, ale można się pobawić w różne zakończenia. Zakończenie do którego udało mi się dotrzeć jest mało satysfakcjonujące, ponieważ łatwo można się spodziewać co z tego wyjdzie. Same obrazki wyglądają śmiesznie lub nijako, lecz do najgorszych nie należą. Osiągnięcia całkiem proste do zdobycia, więc założę się że w trzy godziny można by zrobić perfekcyjną grę. Podsumowując to The Adventurous Four jest mocno średni nawet zahaczający o crap. Nie uważam aby cena była jakaś najgorsza, ale jeżeli jesteś cierpliwy to możesz poczekać na jakąś obniżkę. Jak na razie zostawiam ocenę pozytywną, bo gra reprezentuje to co miała reprezentować, więc nie powinieneś być rozczarowany jeżeli już to kupisz.

A `choose your own adventure` with very few actual choices, but that`s not really important or why I quite enjoyed this. First the story starts rather normally although something was slightly off with the characters or setting. The story dialogue is stiff and feels like it`s been maybe translated to english but nothing too out of the ordinary although it gradually becomes an outright wacky adventure that doesn`t seem to involve good storytelling or decent character dialog. And this is where it begins to shine. The rather charming if unintentionally funny 3d models, their poses and facial expressions, odd narrative choices and descriptions that range from the oddly mundane to comically over the top and often somewhat inappropriate. I`ve played another of these games, The Barbarian and the Subterranian Caves and while I don`t think it quite reaches the strangeness of that maybe because that was the first one I`ve played, it was enough to keep me entertained and giggling for an hour. Recommended, if not entirely for the reasons it was created.

Игра в целом произвела хорошее впечатление. Высокое разнообразие локаций и событий в разных прохождениях. Местами присутствует юмор. Игра сделана аккуратно, Отсутствие резких теней в 3D сценах чаще помогает, чем мешает. Понравились животные в игре, одни смешные, другие гротескные. Ни графика, ни музыка, ни сюжет не выбиваются из общего стиля. Я увидел то, что и ожидал, тем более при такой низкой цене получить 1.2 гигобайта контента - я доволен. Реиграбельность игры выше среднего.

I don't even know what was going on... first there was a very disturbing dog then big bats then big foot, then there was ogre, then there was dragon, then we flew on giant seagul bats and then we saved some cave lady who wasn't actually a cave lady and then we used a flamethrower and killed everything and then we flew away with a flying ship... Il be honest maybe the story is interesting, but everything looks very awful that i'm doubtful of that. Mostly played it for the achievements which i got all of them in 30 minutes, just hold space and it skips all the text until it gives you 2 options to choose from and from there on you can experiment and get every ending and outcome.
