good platformer I recommend in getting it if on the fence

Mágico, simplesmente. Como muitos, conheci a série Adventure Pals pelas plataformas de jogos flash. No meu caso, conheci o primeiro jogo, o Super Adventure Pals pelo FRIV JOGOS em 2012-2013. No caso do super, foi um dos primeiros jogos que joguei no computador e tenho apenas memórias positivas. Assim que platinei este remake rejoguei o super e o zerei pela primeira vez. Além de ter sido nostálgico, foi reconfortante perceber as mensagens de solidariedade que os autores do jogo passam. Inclusive, esta solidariedade é reforçada e melhorada no remake. Além deste ponto, a jogabilidade, os gráficos, a história e a trilha sonora do remake é muito boa. No geral, os dois jogos são excelentes jogos infantis e até para adultos. Tenho as minhas sinceras gratidões aos desenvolvedores a terem feito muitas crianças felizes. Há um espaço reservado no fundo do meu coração ❤️

[h1] Your dad gets kidnapped, and you have to save him! [/h1] A fun lighthearted platformer. It's pretty easy, with no real challenges. The game introduces new mechanics and items the further you progress, so the gameplay never gets boring, even though the combat is just spamming one button. The story has charming humor. It's well written and even has some unexpected twists... The game does offer koop, however, I only played singleplayer. [b] I would definitely recommend this game! [/b] [h3] Important: [/h3] If you are planning on getting all achievements, there are two events that you have to be aware of to avoid a second playthrough. All other achievements can be completed at any point of your playthrough. [b] This part does contain spoilers! [/b] Achievement [spoiler] Good brief! After you first meet with the whale, you find out that he is looking for some clothes to cover himself. You will find a Bikini in a Bamboo Beach stage of Port O Polly - instead of giving these to the whale go ahead back Treevale town and give the bikini to the old guy. He will then give you his white undies in exchange. Take the undies back to the whale and the achievement is done ! [/spoiler] Sticker (needed for achivement) [spoiler] In the town vote for the drunken pirate. Vote box should appear nearly before completing the Port O' Potty area. A simple game with simple controls. Maybe too simple. Gameplay consists of mashing the same button to attack and adventuring around several islands fighting enemies ranging from brawlers to archers. There is not much variety besides this and it gets very repetitive very quickly. Otherwise, the writing is hilarious.

Looks and sounds great, but it's mostly a nice coat of paint on a mediocre game. The combat boils down to mashing a single button with very little depth, and the lack of invincibility frames means enemies can easily stun-lock you to death. Speaking of dying, you can't simply retry a level - let's hope you don't have too many potions to burn through. Invincibility potions are also absurdly overpowered for how cheap they are. Boss fights are also disappointing. The crab boss is a joke and can even softlock you if you enter the water before the bomb phase. The final sequence with the last boss is even worse, with no real climactic fight and being easier and shorter than previous bosses. And that ending... oof. Words can't even describe what I just witnessed. Easily one of the worst endings I've seen in a game. So painfully generic and cliché. Lack of Steam Cloud support, despite players asking for it since 2018, is also pretty unacceptable. Grab it only in a bundle or for a very, VERY deep discount. Paying full price for this would be a mistake. Not recommended.

I loved what the game had to offer with it's twists, and turns throughout the game.
