As interesting as the concept is, it just doesn't work. I think I'm successfully hiding, only for the monster to appear out of nowhere and kill me for seemingly no reason. What audio/visual warnings are there don't seem to work. In addition, I had a moment where distractions just didn't seem to want to work. 2/10, I could find a jumpscare sim on gamejolt and not need to bother getting off my ass.

Test Subject 901 is a free VR survival horror game. You have to stealth by a a creature that will kill you. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Very dark and creepy environ. Try it, if you like survival horror games.
As you can see from the trailer, this game’s aesthetics are pretty reminiscent of classical horror movies. Ridley Scott’s Alien is, without a doubt a big influence on the art direction here. The lighting, the props, the narrow hallways. You’ll see it for yourself in the trailer and by playing. Before trying this game, I expected a very generic horror game, with cheap jump scares and not a whole lot of narrative. Its kinda what I got, but since I was expecting it, I accepted it and was able to enjoy the game and its mechanics. Physical Activity: Very Light. The game utilizes two controllers, but I was able to stand relatively still for most of it. Mechanics: Competent. This is a stealth game. It involves lots of sneaking around and planning your moves. The monster is capable of detecting the player by noise, and also by sight, so the player has to actively hide in the environment by ducking behind objects or standing away from the beast. There is also another mechanic that the player can use. Some items can be picked up and thrown in the game, when they land they make noise and distract the monster, allowing the player to move undetected. Story: Basic. The player is trapped in the facility with the beast, everyone else is dead and the whole place is on lock-down. The player must move around the facility, collect key cards to unlock doors and eventually escape the secret base with his life. Level Design: Very good. From an aesthetic perspective the environments in this game evoke the proper feeling of dread. Cluttered laboratories and narrow hallways give the game a claustrophobic feel, the various areas of the facility are filled with items and lights that cast strange shadows, obscuring the path to escape and filling the player with uncertainty “Did I see the monster’s shadow or something else?” The levels are laid out in such a way that you simply have to explore, to find your way, not knowing where you are going or what’s around the corner adds to the tension and suspense. Visuals: Very good. As expected for a visual effects production house, the graphics of the game are top notch. But not in the way you think. The designers used very simple, not very detailed models for their game, and instead they focused on getting the lights to look right. What they achieved with the lighting is amazing. Overall Experience: This is a really good game. It was a bit short, but I didn’t expect it to be super long in the first place. While I died many times, I did manage to get enjoyment out of it and the stealth mechanics really put me in a mind set in which I found myself totally immersed in what was going on. Its true that I did not have to move a lot or do much physical activity, but In the end of the game I was still sweating, but for a different reason. Play this game if you can get the chance.
Movement is ♥♥♥♥
Game is free because its broken/not finished. On a rtx 2070 its laggy and nearly unplayable and the sound has very bad crackiling sounds. Although the game is pretty scary and could be ok if it was finished/fixed.
Kaçışınızı planlarken unutulmaz koridorlardan ve ıssız odalardan geçin, karanlığın içinden ışınlanın ve gölgelerde saklanın. Sonunuz giderek yaklaşırken kalp atışınızın hızlandığını hissedin. Kaderiniz mühürlenmeden önce bir çıkış yolu bulun.
i am unable to complete this game as its to darn scary ♥♥♥♥ im a ♥♥♥♥♥...
