Tender Loving Care

Would not have enjoyed this as a movie and would not have expected that I would as a "game" but I in fact pretty much did. "Original" let's say. Anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the level of exploring you do. Well worth the 0,89€ I spent on it. Maybe not much more, and maybe not if you're young enough to have the nineties count as [i]purely[/i] historical jank, but may give this a chance otherwise.

I would only recommend this game if it were possible to save your game on a Steam Deck.

Surprisingly good FMV. Stumbled on it with the steam sale and for 89 cents it made for a very interesting and engaging evening. Highly recommend checking it out if you like FMVs.

Best 5 dollars I ever spent.

I don't know how I found this gem, but I'm glad I did. You are placed with a couple that are recovering from losing their child in an accident. The wife is mentally ill, and Dr. Turner (played by John Hurt) places an in home nurse to help rehabilitate her. Things get sexy, then they get weird, then they get scary. Aside from this being smut, it was fun being nosey (reading journals) and being a part of the drama. If you are a fan of the 90's, or FMV in general, you have got to play this. It felt like watching one of those late night HBO's movies. The end fell a bit flat for me, but it was very Tales from the Crypt. I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't a movie I was watching, but a game that I was playing. If you want nostalgia, play this.

very weird game 10/10

Game froze after five hours. Tried restarting the software but whenever I would load back in, the buttons would be unresponsive. Couldn't open the map, interact with objects, turn around, nothing. Five hours wasted. I will have to restart and play through everything I've just been through again, trying to remember what I answered in the quizzes (now knowing a lot of spoilers) so I can get back on track for whatever ending I was going to get. Negative review is purely because the game is refusing to let me play it, nothing to do with the story.

Before visual novels, there were interactive FMV games. While they are still made today, their mark on the larger gaming industry is incredibly miniscule compared to the era of CD-ROM dominance. In regards to this specific game, all I can say is "Wow!" I expected a bit of craziness, but this got more and more unhinged and bonkers. Basically, this is a '90s Skinimax film with interactivity and the great John Hurt! As a film, this isn't too good, but it is standard late night cable TV C-movie fare. As a "game", it's entertaining as hell, even if the interactive moments don't seem to actually effect the game itself. All in all, this was a cool experience - a lot of fun and smutty in a tasteful way. ;) All I can say to Michael, the star of this game, is why are you acting like a total sperg? Despite the women being crazy, they're both gorgeous, and you get to bang them both - but you're totally f'n up every '90s dude's dream! Absolute tool!
