Such a fun and simply game......gameplay mechs are as complicated as should they be!

TMNT is childhood and played tons of the games (most obviously being their go-to arcade fighters), so I was surprised to see they broke that mold and did a roguelike. Although it might not stand out too much in the genre and is overshadowed by the bigger contenders of the genre (such as Hades for example), it can really hold its own and actually has its own unique appeal with solid mechanics, gameplay loop, upgrade systems, etc. (plus it will always have the TMNT appeal regardless). I won't go into the specifics for each category like I do with some games, but I will say that I give this a solid 7.5-8/10 overall.. game I would say it's closest to (right under it) would probably be Ember Knights imo

Overall pretty fun. I feel it's definitely lacking in certain gameplay aspects or balancing aspects. If you're looking for something casual or competitively challenging. There is just so much RnG with challenge components and runs that it's not related to skill or strategy that I can't fully rec it. But there's still loads of fun to have with it at a lot of points I can't rec it.

Awesome game, a lot of nostalgic feels.
