"we only expect kids to play this, so we dont have to do a good job programing it" I'm convinced the devs thought along these lines.
A rogue-like TMNT beat'em up. I'm sold, if you don't like the idea of grinding for resources and upgrades across multiple runs, stay away. But if you love the IP, Rogue-likes, beat'em ups and making cool builds, get the game. The devs added the true story final boss, even more upgrades and achievements for true 100%, it was a joy to complete the first time, the end-game grind only took a while because one of the Portal challenges in the Metalhead Lab had insane modifiers and it took a while to get a good build running, but it was worth it. There are small bugs which I got but did not impact any of my runs. Sometimes an enemy out of screen indicator shows up and does not go away during the stage, this enemy does not seem to teleport on the screen or show up, regardless of how far you follow the arrow, thankfully since it's not on the level or is outside the stage, you get teleported if you kill everyone other than it, if it even spawns, the second one is enemies with Jump/teleports going outside the bound of the stage, where you can't reach. Once again, thankfully if you run far enough away, the jump back in the level and you can kill them. I've not had the chance to play it Co-op, but most other reviews mention split-screen which is a rare-gem in today's gaming environment. Strongly recommend it, especially on a discount with the extra DLC's!
I've been playing this game in coop with my son and it has been a blast. Surely the game we have enjoyed the most in local coop. I just wish they would keep adding characters and maybe elements (would be super cool if combos between elements would unlock new elements made of the two elements of the combo combined, for example) and also if they would add more difficulty levels, but even as is the game is rock solid and a lot of fun
Muy bueno juego, divertido, como sentirse en las epocas de consolas o las maquinitas de fichines
It's pizza time!
great game
amazing game and super fun to play with friends.
muy buen juego roguelike divertido y completo con muy buena historia me encanto y lo volveria a jugar :3 Apto para toda la gente y la famila con muy buen lore
This game is actually mad fun. All I need is Old Hob DLC someday and Splinter somehow and it's the best playable character roster. I wish more games would do more than just the boys + Casey. Good stuff!
