About
Tears of Vanfell: New Beginning is an action-packed dungeon crawler with roguelike and hack-'n-slash elements. Choose between a wide cast of characters and climb the Mountain as you swap weapons and grow stronger as a team of up to four player in online Co-op.

Explore and climb the procedurally-generated Mountain to find and defeat Bosses, and continue on your journey.

During your adventure, you'll pick up powerful new abilities, weapons and equipment, all of which you'll need to use if you plan on surviving.

Explore the Mountain with a team of up to four players! Or, if you would rather take on the Mountain by yourself, don't worry -- you may also bring another member of your camp to help you out.

Prepare yourself for your next expedition at your campsite. At first, it will be just you and your thoughts... but as you explore, you'll find others willing to help you out -- from other explorers with unique skills, to specialists who can help behind the scenes.

I’ve been putting time into Tears of Vanfell and it’s a weird mix for me. The game itself is a blast when you’re running around with friends multiplayer is absolutely the sweet spot. The fights get tense, you end up yelling call-outs, and the whole thing has that “just one more run” pull. What drags it down for me is the look and feel. The art style might be pretty in screenshots but in motion it makes everything feel a little stiff, almost choppy. It’s like the gameplay wants to be slick and fast but the visuals are holding it back. Playing solo makes that stand out even more, because without the energy of a group the rough edges are harder to ignore. It’s still entertaining and I’ve had a lot of fun!
The game is very fun and engaging. Combat feels fluid, and there are plenty of weapons and stats to create builds for both you and your companion. The graphics have improved a lot, and the story has evolved as well. Definitely worth giving this one a try!

👍 What I loved: Fun, responsive combat Great atmosphere Lots of replayability Feels fair even when it’s hard 👎 What could improve: Could use more variety in early game rooms Co-op matchmaking is to hard for me
O tutorial é aprender enquanto joga, e é mt bem feito, Cons No primeiro nivel, as salas do começo ainda repetem um pouco. O inimigo que atira um laser continua me humilhando. Mas acho que ai é skill issue minha kk
not too bad, ill keep up with it, rough around the edges still, but we will see where it goes
O jogo avançou muito nessa versão, os gráficos estão melhores, o combate é mais fluido e está mais desafiador. Bem divertido de avançar na montanha de Vanfell e conquistar novos equipamentos e inimigos!
Nah, game had potential especially since it's apparently multiplayer my friends and I did not try it out. So the game just isn't working for me because the weapon swap mechanic sucks. I don't like it. Why: 1. You cannot swap quickly: if you are going to force us to swap all the time among 3 different weapons... you got to make sure the game can keep up with how fast we press the swap button! 2. Powering up the other weapons by using a weapon: If you are going to force us to swap among 3 weapons, the least you could do is make sure the charges being raised on the other weapons are REMEMBERED. If you cycle through your weapons, you lose the charge on the weapon you just held. Maybe that's why they want us to swap so stupidly slow.... I wasn't really having fun but then we had a power outage. For once, a Tornado weather helped me out! Game has a lot of potential, just isn't up to par by my standards at least.
