The game quickly turns into a grind and not even a very good one. Way to stingy with rewards
They may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom !
Played this for 2 hours and now my farts sound like bagpipes. 🤷💨🎶
I was so hyped by this entry which is an another 1v1000 genre but i can't recommend it. It is crazy difficult and allies are worthless. Also boss fights weren't my cup of tea tbh. If you are interested check it out but your 1h and your 20h gameplay going to be same since unlock offers little to nothing changes. Meta gameplay needs a huge change.
TLDR: The game needs serious work and balance adjustments. You can enjoy the first six hours, but the further you go, the less fun you have. I honestly don't understand what the developers want from me. I completed the campaign, meaning I beat the third boss. But I did it not because I was good at pressing buttons, but because I spent 50 minutes on the third area, having spent an hour on the previous two. I cheesed enemies by running around and landing one hit at a time (which is known to be the worst strategy, and if your game can only be played that way, then you've messed up somewhere in game design). We kited them with a friend, taking advantage of the fact that we have natural intelligence while they have artificial. Both of us had decent cheese builds (the Crusader's infinite Tsukuyomi and the Alchemist's infinite Ignition abuse) that allowed us to run away from opponents while dealing damage. And I got roughly zero enjoyment from the third area, because: There are WAY too many enemies. Regular creeps take about 10 hits to kill, which is about the same as elite enemies from the second area. Elite enemies take even more, plus they perform unstoppable combos of 3–4 strikes in a row at very high speed, and with the sheer number of enemies, some of them just become impossible to notice. These two points alone are enough to make this area awful and uninteresting, but let's continue. A fully upgraded character with two HP-boosting items has 200 HP. One hit from a miniboss (there are about 10 of them in the area) deals 100 HP. That means you're allowed exactly one mistake in this area – the second one will kill you. Regular officers are bosses from areas 1 and 2. Minibosses are two bosses from area 1 at once. There is no telegraphing for ranged attacks from the other end of Skyrim, so if a miniboss is fighting a companion or your friend in co-op, a random wave can hit you for 40–50 damage. If you stop attacking/dodging for a second, a creep will hit you for 15 damage. The final boss is absurd. It's literally a check on whether you got movespeed items or not, and whether you have enough gold to revive your friend in co-op. What's especially funny is that the boss has a stagger bar that decays VERY quickly. But by abusing the AI, we made him get stuck, hit him for free for 15 seconds, broke his stagger bar (for the first time in the entire game, by the way, because without abusing I don't know how you'd stagger a boss), and… the stagger lasts about 3 seconds – I managed to get one free combo in, then he got up and we had to cheese him again. Oh, and on top of that, he spawns about a thousand mobs that, I remind you, can one‑shot you, but fortunately they have their AI disabled and just stand around on the arena doing nothing – I think the developers will fix that later, but for now it's not the case. The third area is pain, pain, and suffering that come out of nowhere for no apparent reason – I don't know what players did to the developer to deserve such an unpleasant experience. But I thought, maybe the reward would be worth it? Oh yes. 5 shards (which are useless) and… access to NG+ which increases the already absurdly high enemy health even further. I don't understand what tiny percentage of players this is designed for – only 5% of players have beaten the final boss, and I don't think any sane person would go into NG+ after spending 15 minutes running away from a boss that's nearly impossible to damage.
AMAZING Game!
I would highly recommend anybody this game as long as you have somebody to play it with. I'm writing this before the balancing changes are implemented, which will make it slightly easier as you progress a run, but even without that the challenging aspect is one of the better parts of this. Think of a medieval gunfire reborn and you're here
Dynasty Warriors roguelite
I wish I could give it a sideways thumb? It's okay. The aesthetic is great, and the basic gameplay is fun enough. But man is it rough around the edges (enemies facing/position sliding around, getting hit when behind the attack animation, etc.), some truly bizzare design decisions (character with zero block given 1/3 of his upgrades related to blocking???) Especially in the third act, it becomes absolutely impossible to parse anything on the screen and the game becomes a slog. Still in Early Access I guess, but maybe wait for it to finish cooking.
Si, es super adictivo
Terrible game that doesnt even support 3440x1440 resolution.
