Initially I didn't think I would like this game, but it definitely grew on me as the world expanded and more and more complexities were added. I took a part in the original Humble Bundle so it's very cool to see all those characters in a game together showing off their unique skills through great level design. Has a fantastic nostalgia factor. There are some serious flaws though. The game lacks a bit of polish as clipping into walls was frequent and I can sometimes go out of bound on certain stages (Dustforces wallkick can get me into places I think the dev forgot about). The game also has bad support for ultrawode monitors as it automatically full screened for me and I couldn't find a menu option to get it to run windowed. It's 90% playable, but sometimes the way it crops the game does sometimes hide critical puzzle elements leaving me stuck guessing where the key might be. Edit: Turns out there is an option to run windowed, it was just cropped out in full screen. If your using an ultrawide press F on the main map to enter options to switch to windowed mode, hope this helps someone.

I just can't quite get behind this one sadly. I'd dearly love to as the concept is great and repping so many great indie game mascots, which is wonderful. However the controls are just the wrong side fo frustrating at times. The 'story' I have encountered so far is as ridiculously out there and nonsensical fun that you'd expect for something which brings trogether such a diverse array of faces from other games which is good to see. I do feel that my playthrough sofar has suffered somewhat from a lack of experience with some of the titles but specifically with Braid. The inclusion of a time warp in a game which already uses a timew warp might have been the tipping point for me. One too many things to think about perhaps? Sadly though combine this with an oddly mixed floaty yet heavy jump which feels like it isn't responding correctly with some unforgiving hit boxes and I don't know how much longer I will keep plugging away at this one. May be worth a glance for a sale price but I'd get your play time in quick so a refund is still plausible to check if it is for you or not. I completed world 1 in my 1.5 hours and I'd guess that there are around 3-5 worlds maybe in total? So again for sale or bundle (the latter being where i got my copy) it's not too shabby for a small amount of time but I'd maybe look to some of the inspirations for the game if you want a better experience. Perhaps the reason being that these individual titles have spent more time honing their individual mechanics to produce responsive and satisfying controls whereas Indie Team has spread itself a little thin trying to cover so much? TLDR: interesting idea not quite pulled off to satisfaction (matron).
Boring and the controls aren't that great.
I really wanted to like this game. And to finish it and get all the achievements. But the poorly designed mechanics make enjoyment difficult. The controls are imprecise, and slight missteps usually mean undoing 30 seconds of effort rather than 3 (ala Super Meat Boy); that may not sound like much, but when it happens hundreds of times it really adds up. The frustration level quickly surpasses the enjoyment, and unlike many popular difficult games, failure is not always your fault. The concept has potential, and the developer impressively got several recognizable characters to feature, but this game would need a lot of improvement (that isn't planned) to be worthy of your time.
A tad dissapointing honestly. This is a slow paced puzzle platformer. I was hoping for something a bit faster after seeing the inclusion of the Dustgirl. My review might be negative, but if you enjoy puzzle platformers this might be for you.
It had potential, but: • Tends to glitch out quite often, softlocking the game, forcing you to restart the level. • Very bad options menu wtih no way to change controls. • Repetitive gameplay with a lot of waiting around and replaying the same part of the levels over and over. • Poor animations, sound and music design (repetitive and lackluster). If they had polished the game it could've been so much better. It's a good concept but with a bad execution. I understand why they unlisted it from the store. Unplayable.
Nice little game.
Team Indie is an amalgamation of various indie games, such as Braid, Awesomenauts and Dust Force, using gameplay mechanics from the games represented. Whilst it is novel to see and play as the representatives of those other indie titles, it constantly begs the question "why am I playing this instead of <insert game here>?", because, although the game is fun, it doesn't really have that same charm as the other games. So here's a tentative recommendation.
Amazing game
