Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is like a time capsule. Playing it brings you back to simpler times where people who made FPS games actually played them, and wanted to make a quality product. It is easy to understand, but difficult to master. It requires a right of passage that I am still currently in. The talent pool on this game is incredible. Very much in the vein of Quake, Unreal Tournament, etc. If you would like to see people that actually know how to play an FPS at a high level, I would recommend watching competitive footage of this game. It is an experience that you will return to multiple times per year. Very much like an MMO or playthough of Fallout. It never completely loses your interest. The characters, the community, and the market all posses a very unique form of human deficiency and I honestly don't even know what it is. It's just...there. But if it wasn't there, the game wouldn't be fun. I don't even know if I like Team Fortress 2. I just know that occasionally, I want to play it.
