Great game !
The concept of a shop simulator is nothing groundbreaking, but this game made it interesting by tapping into a very specific niche: TCG cards. The basic mechanics of filling your shelves, managing your inventory and upgrading your shop are all fun for a while, but what truly kept me going was the balance of wanting to collect every card vs. selling those cards to make money. Add on top of that the gambling mechanic of opening packs of cards and now you can't stop playing. This was a great concept, but it was unfortunately packaged into what seems like a fairly low-effort game made with generic unity assets that still hasn't left early access after 2 years. There are many aspects that eventually make the game uninteresting such as the progression scaling being quite bad in the end game, and the fact there are actually way too many cards and variations of cards to have any chance at collecting them all. No shame on the developer, they had a great idea, they worked on this alone, they made it happen and it blew up. The bad generic assets even help elevate its meme status. It is not a bad game at its core, you should probably play it if you haven't, but it's not a good game either. I would actually love to see a higher quality "remake" of this, but this version of the game is not something I would ever go back to. I did complete this 100% because I really wanted to see what it had to offer, but it was a pain to push through and I mostly left the game running by itself with little intervention for most of my playtime. I'm recommending because it's worth a play, just don't expect too much.
