+1 fun
Wasn't sure how much I liked it at first, but after unlocking different characters, got into the swing of things and really enjoy trying out different techniques. Some traits seem grossly stronger than others (healing is bonkers), but good balance overall. Some bugs with drafting (my favorite type) as the abilities I pick sometimes don't show up in the game, but that just means I have to adjust.
Very solid rogue auto battler. Very enjoyable game loop which gives you a lot of control over its RNG rogue aspects. I played all the way through its entire ascension and dipped into the "multiplayer" (Semi multiplayer, its not live runs, but you do face off against other peoples real builds.) While I do recommend the game it does have a couple cons: While I hate RNG and prefer control, this game gives you perhaps to much control. You pretty much decide 90% of your build at the start of every run, and the only RNG is whether you get some over powered buffs / events / items as you go. It is a weird thing for me to complain about, as this SHOULD be a pro, but it feels like it has gone to far in the controlled direction. There seems to be a very small handful of very powerful tribes, and many very weak ones. Perhaps I am missing something, and just played the other options wrong, but the power gap between good tribes and bad tribes felt pretty wide. In general the mechanical clarity of your options feels a bit lacking. Its hard to get a good measure of the smaller points and numbers of the game and you just sort of have to go off a general vibe of how successful you are, which is part of why I am not sure if I was missing something about many of the tribes or if the balance is just in question. And last: I see that the game has "seasonal multiplayer" and I have almost no idea what that means, how rank works, or much of anything along those lines. If there was a bit more clarity on what is going on in multiplayer, and perhaps a bit of better balance this game could have hooked me for a long time. - So TLDR: Definitely recommend the game, playing through the story mode is fun and really scratches that auto battler itch. As for long term multi player / replayability it is lacking a little, so a good 20-100 hour game, but its not one that is likely to hook you for hundreds.
sehr Anspruchvoll, mit sehr vielen Kombinationen.
It's a roguelike autobattler (the player chooses the fighters for their team, and then the fight happens automatically). At the beginning, you choose a character from nine available, each with different abilities. Then, over the course of the run, you build your team. The fighters on your team can be selected from randomly drawn pools, and if three more copies of the same fighter are found, they are upgraded to level four. Between fights, random events occur, which generally offer advantages (equipment, potions, special abilities, etc.). This is my first time playing this type of game (I like turn-based combat games that allow you to have complete control of the fight), and I have to say I had a lot of fun. I particularly appreciated: The enormous variety of fighters, allowing for countless different combinations and strategies. The draft option, which allows you to combine the characteristics of the starting characters to create alternative builds. The downsides are: Dependence on luck in drawing the necessary fighters: upgrading fighters is essential to progressing in the game, but if you're unlucky, you won't find the copies you need and will be defeated. Since there are so many fighters, it's common to miss the copies you need. This weakness is mitigated by items that make the search easier. This problem is particularly noticeable at high levels. Difficulty in determining party strength: during combat, fighters move independently and sometimes adopt strategies you hadn't anticipated.
pretty good take on an autobattler cant remember what the league of legends one is called but plays very similiar to that one, not much to say but its an honest take on the genre and it does play well
great game
Like TFT but solo (yet somehow just as toxic) (looking at you Ki O'Dini)
