This game is genuinely decent! The fighting feels good and the spells feel good. One criticism I have with the game though is that the grabbing, while works, is jank and there's no indication about where you can grab an enemy. For reference, the game lets you grab at points on the enemy similar to that of Blade and Sorcery, same points just without the dot indicator. Still though, the game feels good, fighting is good, and the levels are pretty decent too. Overall would recommend this game.
打击感很脆,防御手感很好,AI攻击手段多样,VR游戏里独一份的搏击闯关游戏,虽然没有中文基本没有剧情,所以没啥关系
Great concept poorly implemented. Like previous Tales of Glory it doesn't get the combat down right. Shooters like pavlov, onward and contractors did it better than ToG2. Blade and sorcery has far better combat than this game.. It's ok. I would recommend it on a sale.
A highly entertaining game that does exactly what it says on the tin. I know some people have said the maps are too big, but I really like it and I'd argue that's the strongest case in the game's favour. Story mode actually feels like you're fighting your way through a sea of henchmen to get to the boss at the end. Their combat animations are also good enough to catch you off guard and make you approach the fight carefully. These are both itches that no other VR title has fully scratched to my satisfaction, not even - and I say this with nothing but love - Blade and Sorcery. I'm thrilled to finally have one that does. My only criticism is that the turning isn't the best. There's a sensitivity slider in the settings, but it's jarring when I push the thumbstick just slightly and I turn at full speed. It'd be nice if the turn speed were proportional to how far you pushed the stick. Considering the recent quality of life changes in this latest update, I'm hoping this is on the agenda for getting added in the future. Fingers crossed. Overall, Tales of Glory 3 is pure fun. It doesn't pretend to be anything it's not, which makes me love it all the more. You go around beating the snot out of people to a surprisingly catchy synthwave soundtrack, all the while making over-the-top karate screams that wouldn't be out of place in a cheesy 80s kung fu film. The only thing it's missing is the bad dubbing where everyone's lips move out of sync when they speak. That's essentially all the game is, and that's perfect. A simple premise done well is a rare gem that stands out in a mountain of careless, overly-ambitious AAA dumpster fires. Worth every penny in my book.
Game feels pretty solid to play with the most recent update a lot of the jank is gone and grabbing is definitely a lot better There is still an issue with enemies just popping up out of nowhere you'll get surrounded by like 4 guys but it's still a lot of fun .Wish they had Co-op
This game accomplishes something very special. I feel like a super hero when I play. At the same time, there is something very visceral about it. It feels like being in a fight. It feels dangerous... but, you feel dangerous too. This is the first vr fighting game for me that really captures the feel of being in a fight. Real blocking, countering, and real effect from a solid combo; then that rush of being outnumbered and animal instincts take over as aggressively double tap an enemy only to find out another one snuck up behind you. Then you find out you have super powers. Main thing... it is fun.
Fun game but i dont know how tf they expect you to figure out the combos for the spells/mantras....the only hint is a very vague clue form the 2nd spell book.. pretty frustrating
