I can see why this game gets negative reviews. I have no idea why it was pulled, but with it, the DLCs as well. And the game does nudge you into buying at least one DLC. The game itself? Hardly DnD, it looks like the brand was slapped on it for sales, but there's absolutely no customization like in DnD (4 predetermined characters?), the systems used don't resemble DnD and on top of that, it seems terribly frustrating to roll the proper numbers on the dice (only 17 or higher seems to be positive). If you still have it in your library and are looking for something for a rainy day, look further.
Boring and grindy. 5/10, not recommended.
Es muy aburrido
It is fun and good to play for a relaxing evening.

I really like the physical versions of these D&D Adventure Games... and this is a direct port... but there is no UNDO button... or CONFIRM button. You do have the right mouse button to Cancel... but that is not enough. PLEASE update with an UNDO button It is really discouraging to move, then mistakenly move again instead of performing your action. The addition of an UNDO button would really make this game shine.

Recommending / Positive, but only if you have played the D&D adventure boardgames and like those. This digital version nicely brings Tomb of Annihilation to PC, the animations and graphics have been done very well. This is NOT a D&D game in the same mould as Baldur's Gate. You do not create heroes, go through a story and make scenario altering choices. If that's the sort of game you're after you will not like this. The D&D adventure boardgames are typically a chill get out and play boardgame or often seen as stepping stone into dungeon crawler and D&D boardgames. Therefore a lot of the mechanics are quick and easy. The real boardgames are suitable for families and an audience 9+ The game itself....as you would in the adventure boardgames you have objectives to complete and you do that by selecting premade heroes, drawing tiles, throwing dice and battling monsters. Combat is simple dice rolls and picking card abilities appropriate for that action. You level up letting you gain more power cards to play and you'll find loot to aid you. You can still buy this game on various "external" websites even through Steam do not sell it. You do need to manually activate it. Again my positive rating is based on the fact I like those boardgames and this is a PC version.
