Takelings House Party

I run a VR arcade in Minnesota and before trying out Takelings I sampled various asymmetric titles. Takelings has been a big hit with entertaining groups. Granted there is the investment in hardware with acquiring controllers (I have not tried their app as yet) but the effect is well worth it. I've set this up for little kids, teenagers, young adults, even my parents' retired friends. In each instance it was a hit; at times even a frenzy with players yelling at the screen as Hal tortures their Tackling. Whereas asymmetric games that use mobile apps to play against the VR player can afford to be more complex (such as Acron), there's an interesting psychology aspect with everyone looking at the same screen. It makes having your Takelings fate feel more personal as it's happening in front of everyone. Further the developers have been keen to stay ontop of advancing the game even adding new levels as they go along. Worth getting a few cheap controllers for~

started playing this at every birthday party because everyone loved this game, almost everything about this game is fun, excepts for the attic level. That level is traumatizing.

This game is SUPER FUN. The latest update brought new content, fixed bugs and improved the menu navigation. It's great! Please continue the development 🙏 this game deserver so much more attention and much more content!

This game is a lot of fun whenever I pull out my VR and need a party game to play with friends and family.

This game stops being fun after 2 hours, the gameplay is way too repetitive and boring, there are no updates and no new modes - total abandonware I got 7 hours because I let my friends play when the come to my place because they don't have VR, so it's fun for them. But even they get bored of this game in 40-50 minutes Do not buy this abandonware

This game is not worth the money at full price or during sales. Given the amount of content in the game and the amount of time it takes before the game play starts to get stale, I'd say this game is worth at most $7.99. There's five levels which are all unique in how they play, but they all get old quick. This is a very fun game that had me and my whole family dying laughing, so if you have some money to spare and want a game you could come back to every so many months and play it with family or friends for two or maybe three hours at a time, then I'd recommend.

Never managed to get the takelings side to work. Saw that there is an option for cell phones over WiFi, but would be better if it was a thing you could do online, maybe through the program or an app. So people could play it with steam couch party sharing. Would love to recommend it for a positive review as it seems awesome. Would be great for twitch if there was an online option and the game could be shared as I said.

Mais um EXCELENTE game para jogar e dar risadas com os amigos. Um no VR e os outros no PC. Se não me engano tem 4 modos de jogo, um na cozinha onde os seus amigos no PC se escondem enquanto você de VR tenta achá-los. Um onde eles ficam atrás da parede e você tem que ficar martelando para acertar eles (cuidado com o choque). Um no jardim onde eles tentam se camuflar e chegar até o final e você tem que acha los. E outro na garagem que é você tentando sobreviver do ataque deles. É um jogo que requer muita física de quem usa o VR, mas é certeza de várias risadas. Só acho que ele não é muito rejogável, você vai jogar um dia, no máximo umas 4h, mas provavelmente não volta. Mas pelo valor do game, vale muito.

100% recommended if you have Family Members or just looking for a fun VR Party Game! Pro's Has controller support ( I believe you need to enable it in steam but it's SUPER easy to do ) Up to 8 PC players and 1 VR player. Freeplay mode: No switching turns and no points. Party Mode: Switches every round 3 people can be up to 90 minutes of Fun 30 minutes per person as vr. Again switches per round. IT also doesn't Instantly switch the vr and the pc player must confirm they have switched via clicking a button. Cons No cons at all. Endless fun!
