This game is good! Not my favorite Yai game, but certainly worth the time for fans and newcomers alike. Big fan of the characters, voice-acting, artwork, puzzles, writing, among other things. I'm not very good at writing reviews, but just trust me and play the game. <3

Take the Dream IX was an interesting play. I'm usually a chicken when it comes to things like this, but I made myself bear through it and do what I had to. The puzzles were not too hard, but not too easy. I only struggled on one or two of them. The story is interesting and by the time plot bombs are dropped, I personally was very committed to the character and wanted to see her mission through. The warnings I would give are just some jump cuts to slightly disturbing art, and a few full images of... Something. Not anything super scary, just... Interesting. The game tends to change tone on a dime, which for me was an indicator of something bigger, but it could be frustrating for others. Overall, maybe a rough game, but I got the general feel and story. I really liked it, but it may not be for everyone. Overall, spooky game, jumps between scenes, and a pretty interesting play in my opinion.
