Tainted Grail : Fall of Avalon is a game that hits far, far above its weight in terms of story, gameplay, and art direction. I would recommend Tainted Grail if you like the idea of stepping into a world that obeys strange unknowable rules and rewards exploration. Rather they say more and spoil some of the surprises that the game has to offer, allow me instead to offer some useful advice to get the most out of the game. - Once you complete a Quest, go back after a while and talk to quest giver again, they will often have new dialogue and even follow up quests. - Do not pet the doglike creature, this is a dark fantasy setting, it will not end well. - Be aware that the results of side quests will often have an impact on the main quest, or at least the options presented to you during dialogue. - Some enemies can hit really hard, be aware that there is a reason that many refer to this game as a bit of a “Soulslike” - There is large number of unique gear in the game that all offer unique ways to build character, so don’t be afraid to go exploring to find them. - There are several free dlc that add more weapons and gear to the base game, I would recommend them all.
One of the best open world RPG I've played in a while. Must play if your a fan of elderscrolls
Peak.
The combat takes a bit of getting used to. Initially, I thought 'normal' difficulty was too hard but once I got used to it, it turned out to be fine if even a little easy. Aiming bows is a little tricky and can sometimes seem off but for the most part, this is IMO better than Skyrim. If only it wasn't so small/short.
awesome game
Stellar and interesting
most fun in a game of this type since skyrim. except the writing is better
8/10

I am surprised at the vast amount of content and quality in this game. There is always something engaging happening. You get to be rewarded for your efforts and every victory feels like you have overcome something. The threats are genuine, the story is deep, and this is the perfect example of a game that the world has been needing.
