worth it
Honestly one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time. Well worth the money.
Played through the base game and NG+ back to back — couldn't put it down. There's plenty to criticize here: janky or outright broken animations, quests that occasionally defy logic, holes in the story, and honestly a lot more on top of that. But a proper dark fantasy — in an Arthurian setting, no less — is something we simply haven't had in ages. The game pulls you in, especially if you go in without inflated expectations. And the endless Skyrim comparisons are genuinely funny to read. Set aside the obvious difference in studio scale. Set aside how buggy Skyrim itself was at launch (and, let's be honest, long after). Then ask the real question: does it even make sense to measure every game that has an open world, a fantasy setting, and a character creator against Skyrim? Flaws and all — recommended.
The best game since Elden Ring. It's like Skyrim + Gothic, but better. Playing as an archer is very satisfying. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3760742062
its a good indie game but I would recommend waiting till its on sale. The first part of the game is not hard its just difficult and parts of the area are really hard especially if you are lower level. If you love Bethesda type rpg then you will like this game. Would advise to use a controller. Music and stuff is really good. Would advise they change the pacing of leveling in the early game.
Good game with great story and roleplaying. From a technical standpoint it's just ok. Expect bugs and save often. For quality of life improvements like a minimap, inventory sorting and categories, loot filtering and summon behaviour switching to the Mono version and using mods is recommended. Balancing is still off even after the introduction of diminishing returns on the effects of attribute points: once my summoner build came to life it was a walk in the park on Veteran difficulty and it only got easier after that. Because of bugs I also cannot recommend Survival Mode: it restricts saving to rests at beds and fireplaces which is infuriating when you encounter quest progression bugs or simply fall through the map. Nevertheless, I had many hours of fun in the game so it's a clean recommendation.
!!!
Hidden Gem. While it's still a bit janky at times and can be grindy, game is very enjoyable.
Skyrim but epic and more drip
I was surprised how everytime I thought I had found every little quest in every little nook, there was always something more to find. The Visuals are appealing, the gameplay is fun (Just don't lean to hard into crit magic or the game beats itself), the story is dark and engaging with tough choices at points if you care about that stuff. The DLC is small but enjoyable, and the game is somehow nearly bug free, which impressed me for a game of this scale on this budget. more than I expected for the price and overall I'd give this game a solid 8/10. PS. I Wish I had the voice of Arthurs VA
