Poorly optimized and buggy. Cant recommend
Good, I died 6 times in a row. Life goes on.
Love the game, I'd describe it as a halfway house between Skyrim & Dark Souls. First person driven and featuring all the Combat, Cooking, Smithing & Alchemy of Skyrim (with a sxy new dash you never knew you needed!) with a more grim type of world in line with dark souls. Some enemy types also give "The Witcher" vibes. Skyrim seems more joyful a setting for the NPCs by comparison to Tainted Grail. greatly enjoying the game, 50 hours in and I cant see the ending yet... doing too many sidequests to build the world up :D My advice for anyone who feels like the game feels clunky when they start... -Yo, invest in agility and you will zip and fly smooth like in combat. Trust me, dont sleep on this game.
King Arthur has one hell of an alarm clock
Great game! If you like The Elder Scrolls games, then gameplay-wise you'll probably like this one. Less sandbox-y / more linear, but still has a lot of exploration. The story and the worldbuilding are pretty great too, with some compelling writing.
pls release another expansion i love this game
OMG, this game has a wonderful lore and story, with multiple choices which is good. And it's dark (almost dropped it in the beginning because of it, lol). Gameplaywise it's a mix of TES (mainly) and Gothic (e.g. all enemies' levels are set and if you can't fight them, you just have to come back later. The only auto-leveling it has is in its DLC). Yes, it's not a AAA game, and you can see that in the art specifically, but man... in the Sanctuary of Sarras (DLC) the locations are stunning, so you can see the progress. And this is my favorite part of the game (and yes, it has very gloomy mood too). A couple of minuses. Technical issues - while playing with all settings at max, LODs keep popping up everywhere. Everything is constantly loading (well, I just imagine it's all because of the Wyrdness. LMAO). And not being able to mark or make notes on the map should be prohibited in games with open worlds. Like, this game has some locations to which you can return later (important ones for an alternate ending), once some conditions are met, but at that mentioned moment you'll most likely forget about those since the game has a massive load of quests and things going on. But those are just minor details, the game is a masterpiece. P.S. feel sad for Arthur. My man has been through a lot. Did the 'secret' ending for him.
This is a soft "yes" but if you're jonesing for some skyrim it's ok, but it has problems.
Well. More yes, that no. I cleared full Act 1 and 2, but for Act 3, I had made it halfway through the quests and finished the main storyline, coz I'm a bit tired of the game after 70 hours. The gameplay and build creating are great, and the locations are beautiful. However, I got tired of the gameplay itself by the end of the game. I think something like 6.5/10.
A spiritual successor to Enderal more than Skyrim. Played 50+ hours and I'm still in the first area, having a blast. This game has a great atmosphere, intriguing lore and interesting characters. Combat is fun. Progression is meaningful. Highly recommended.
