Tadpole Tales — бесплатный 2D-«clean 'em up» в духе ретро-аркад: вы управляете маленьким головастиком, который очищает реку от загрязнения, стреляя очищающими пузырями во врагов. Головастик меняет форму в зависимости от уровня здоровья, а на пути встречаются три зоны с боссами. Вся анимация нарисована от руки покадрово, а саундтрек отсылает к аркадным играм 80–90-х. Плюсы: потрясающая ручная анимация и визуальный стиль — каждый кадр нарисован вручную, и от игры невозможно оторвать взгляд; плотный, отзывчивый геймплей с боссами — короткие, но насыщенные схватки требуют выучить паттерны и дают настоящее удовлетворение от победы. Минусы: крайне короткая продолжительность — около 15 минут на основное прохождение, и контента хватит только на одну сессию; малая глубина боевой системы — управление ограничено перемещением и стрельбой, и после освоения базы новых механик почти не появляется. Итог: Tadpole Tales — красивая, искренняя мини-аркада, которая за 15 минут успевает подарить заряд ностальгии и эстетическое удовольствие. Бесплатно — обязательно к пробе для фанатов shoot 'em up и просто любителей игр, сделанных с душой.

un juegazo divertido para jugar con amigos en la mítica quedada de estar todos en una casa y pasándose el mando para ver quien llega mas lejos, que pena que por alguna razón se retirara el poder jugar con mando. Jugar en teclado y ratón hace que se pierda mucho la experiencia, igualmente es un juegazo. Gratis, que mas puedes pedir?

This game is such a treat for the senses! The art is stunning, the sound design is simple but oozes with charm! I love all the character designs, particularly the bosses; there is so much creativity on display here! The gameplay is deceptively simple and honestly super addictive! Would absolutely love to see this expanded into a full game, but if not I'm more than satisfied with what we got!

very good very good but hard

Tadpole Tales is a Shoot 'Em Up about a small tadpole and its mission to clean the river from corruption. The game is pretty short and consist of one linear river with enemies that keep flooding the screen and shoot bullets at you while you're trying to cleanse them at the same time. You face a big boss after each part of the river, the gameplay was super short as I finished my whole run in just 9 mins and 44 secs which was really sweet, despite being a short game, I still enjoyed it. There are no other abilities except moving in 4 directions and a button for shooting at the enemies, no other abilities or upgrades, dying means you reset at the beginning of the river which is kinda roguelite inspired. The music and OST was really nice, didn't get to listen to it much because of the short run but it was fine. There are a total of 3 bosses only in the whole game with each taking an average of 1-2 minutes to beat if you don't have hearts collected during the run. The boss designs were fun and I enjoyed each one of them. Recommended short and fun shoot 'em up adventure if you're into this kind of genre. Overall Rating 8/10
