Best tool I've found for the job.
At $50 this is great piece of software for designing a game. Big upgrade from card creator. Its more intimidating but its not to hard to get the hang of.

It's nice to use and easy to pick up. The more you learn about i the more you can do but it makes it quick and easy to make a lot of cards off a template and you can just simply change the templet and it updates all the cards instead of one at a time. I have made several games with this now. Also super easy on exporting in multiple ways.
I was using their first program, Card Creator, which was a good program, but with far too many bugs, inconsistencies, and limitations. This program is much more comprehensive, but it takes a while to use, and some functions are a bit convoluted, meaning it sometimes requires more work than would be necessary with shortcuts and a couple of extra settings panels. In any case, it allows you to create anything with the necessary patience, even complex card games, boards, and dungeon pieces if you want to create an exploration and miniatures combat game. It's not completely bug-free, unfortunately, but it's still 100 times better than Card Creator. For example, I created a game with almost 200 different cards, and often one or two card images lose the link and I have to re-link them or reload the program, but nothing that prevents me from working. Creating complex graphics is very laborious, partly due to the lack of tutorials, but with enough time, you can do anything. I found the integration of artificial intelligence to create images very nice, even if it limits you to about ten free images per day and can't be expanded even by paying. There are simpler programs on Steam for creating card games that aren't too complex but have exceptional preset graphics, whereas here you have to create everything yourself from scratch, except for the icons, which are numerous and fantastic. But if you want to give the card an elaborate look, you have to work, but technically there's nothing this program can't do. My personal rating is 8.5/10, but if they'd included a routine for automatic card resizing, I'd have given it 9/10, but it's not a feature that everyone will want. Overall, the best program currently available on Steam for this type of thing, well worth the price. Oh, I forgot, it has the ability to export everything to Tabletob Simulator and test the game digitally, which is a huge plus. The printing options are also extensive; you can adjust anything. Overall, I'm satisfied!
It's useful software if you're not a graphic designer and want to organize and iterate on component ideas for prototyping. I've found the functionality helpful in getting my ideas down. That said, it's overpriced, and the AI features are a slap in the face to anyone creating games. AI is a scourge on tabletop game design and I would absolutely never incorporate it at any step of the game design process, and implementing it here shows a fundamental lack of understanding for the people working in the space. I'm only using it because I had their previous product and got an update deal a long time ago.
I would like to ask just one question. I want to preface that I find the app absolutely valid, but I purchased it in Early Access at the price of 100 Euros (200 Euros full price - 50% discount), and today I see it at 48 Euros full price. Can I know why there has been such a drop in price and if there are any specific benefits for those who purchased it at the 'Higher Price'? I apologize for the incorrect grammar, but I don't speak English very well and I used a translator.
