This game is an AFK/Clicker game. Pros: I like the custom sprites they look cheesy but original and fun nonetheless. The cutscene animations were very nice Reccomend only if you vibe with Clicker genre. Cons: The music loops every 15seconds, no variations. CG still looks like Waifu Diffusion / AI Generator. The game isn't entirely fun or anything, it's just a math addiction I'm not against Waifu Diffuser / Ai Gen as long as the games good but a clicker game still doesn't really cut it for recommending. At least it's got a gameplay of some sort compared to the Devs first game. Buy it on a discount if you really must have this game.
Make Chinese and English speaker feel at home: Bilingual Curator
Sword&Magic, developed and published by FTA GAMES, is a fantasy action title that embraces the timeless appeal of swords, sorcery, and steady character progression. Rather than leaning heavily on narrative complexity or expansive worldbuilding, the game delivers a focused experience built around clearing stages, defeating waves of monsters, and steadily improving your hero through skills, upgrades, and unlockable characters. It positions itself as an accessible action-RPG hybrid—easy to pick up, rewarding in short bursts, and driven by the familiar loop of battle, reward, and growth. The core gameplay centers on moving through compact stages filled with enemies, each battle providing opportunities to accumulate gems, bonuses, and experience that contribute to your character’s advancement. Combat is straightforward but satisfying, built on simple controls that allow players to unleash melee strikes or magical abilities while responding to enemy patterns. As you progress, the enemies become tougher and more numerous, encouraging you to rethink your build and consider how best to enhance your strengths or cover your weaknesses. The moment-to-moment action may not be intricate, but its clarity and rhythm help maintain a smooth, enjoyable flow. Progression is one of the game’s strongest draws. Sword&Magic features a roster of different characters, each offering a distinct combat style and statistical profile. Unlocking these characters gradually adds variety and replayability, giving players new ways to approach familiar stages. Matching characters with newly acquired abilities creates satisfying synergy—one character may excel with brute strength enhancements, while another benefits more from spell-focused skills or defensive improvements. The skill unlock system itself is paced to keep players engaged, presenting small but meaningful rewards that expand your tactical options over time. The game’s fantasy presentation leans into familiar tropes: armored warriors, enigmatic mages, mystical creatures, and enchanted environments that evoke a light, storybook style of medieval adventure. While the graphics are modest and not designed to compete with more elaborate fantasy RPGs, the art style is serviceable and readable, ensuring that players can clearly distinguish threats and abilities even when combat becomes hectic. Spell effects and attack animations help maintain visual interest, and the overall aesthetic contributes to the game’s easygoing tone. Progression relies on collecting resources through repeated play, making Sword&Magic particularly suited to players who enjoy incremental advancement. Each run through a stage feels like a step toward strengthening your character or unlocking a new one. This design supports both short, casual sessions and longer grinding periods, depending on how deeply the player wants to invest in optimizing builds. Over time, the accumulation of skills and characters transforms early-game simplicity into a more layered experience, with different combinations encouraging experimentation. However, the game’s focus on accessibility and repetition means it may feel limited for fans seeking deeper systems or a more narrative-driven journey. The lack of a complex story or branching paths keeps the experience centered strictly on combat and progression. Those looking for intricate RPG mechanics, expansive exploration, or robust lore may find Sword&Magic’s ambitions modest. Still, for players who appreciate straightforward fantasy action with a gradual power curve, its simplicity can be an asset rather than a flaw. In the end, Sword&Magic succeeds as a compact and enjoyable action-RPG that prioritizes fun, progression, and character variety over grand storytelling or innovation. It offers a steady loop of combat and growth that appeals to those who enjoy unlocking new heroes, fine-tuning builds, and battling through waves of mythical foes. While its scope is limited and its mechanics familiar, it delivers its core experience with consistency, making it a satisfying choice for players drawn to light fantasy action and the thrill of growing stronger one stage at a time.
