Sweetcore Brews - an otome game inspired by witchy sitcoms

I completed Zero's route and will play Kingsley next! The episodic style really does give the "witchy sitcom" feel. There's plenty of hours of reading and the minigames are not hard imo. And you can skip the mad-libs/letter-writing ones I think. The story is pretty linear in the sense that there is only one ending in the route and the choices typically lead to the same outcome just with different dialogue, but I do appreciate the options of choices at all. I wish there were more sprites especially for characters like Olive. The voicelines are really amazing though and I like that I can customize the "homescreen." Zero as a character is very loveable, a fun-loving superstar butch that likes to tease. She's charming and fun to interact with and I appreciate how interactions with her deepen over time. There's definitely recurring plot points regarding Milly and Zero's relationship that getr followed up on. oh, and Milly as an MC is excellent. Adorable and with her own personality, she's easy to follow the story through while also being attractive in her own right. I like her writing, she's a bit impulsive/headstrong but also a lover through and through. The smut is also well written! Overall I really love it and am glad I bought it.

I really like how relaxing this game is to play. There are so many games you can't step away from without things getting confusing but the episodic nature of Sweetcore Brews makes it so easy to play. Like a relaxing treat of tea!

First of all I want to share my love for the artstyle and overall vibe of the game! It's aesthetically pleasing to look at and the BGM is nice and relaxing. The female LI is a refreshing change to the usual male LI dominated otome games. Zero, Kingsley and the MC have amazing designs — though, sadly, we don't see MC aside from the CGs. Now going into this game blind I was kind of surprised by those bold characters and the suggestive writing somethimes — it's not everyone's cup of tea. When picking an answer that will lead to an explicit scene, a warning will pop up, which is nice. Judging by the theme I had expected more fluff and a game which focused more on the background story of the LIs. Personally, I thought it rather weird seeing both LIs fall in love with the MC so quickly. This could have been fixed by making them acquainted with the MC prior to the start of the game. However I can see the appeal in a rather quick paced game like this. The candy crush-ish mini game is fun, while the others get old quite fast. Now here is to say that I'm writing this review while I still haven't finished all the chapters of the game. So far I can say: This game isn't groundbreaking, however it is nice and worth its prize. If you like the design of the LIs and don't mind some suggestive writing then go ahead! It can give you a good time!

garbage with random words and poorly written story. The character design was nice-ish but the random ♥♥♥♥ thrown together was just bleh
