About
SusDoku blends the satisfying logic of sudoku with classic murder mystery deduction. A victim has been found — your job is to place suspects into rooms using clues, find the weapon used, eliminate the impossible, and name the killer before you run out of chances.
Each case procedurally generates a grid of rooms and a group of suspects. Clues restrict where everyone can be. Place them correctly, locate the weapons, interrogate the suspects, and make your accusation. Every deduction is yours—no guessing, just pure logic.
Fast — The victim shares a room with a suspect. Find the weapon used, find the room, discover the killer and the victim. Classic Sudoku logic featuring mechanics inspired by the famous Zebra Puzzle (Einstein's Riddle).
Evidence — Several weapons are hidden across the map. Investigate the furniture and locked cells to uncover them. Only after finding all the weapons and interrogating the suspects will you be able to solve the case.
Single-player — Solve cases at your own pace with no time pressure (or set a timer for a real challenge).
Local co-op (pass & play) — 2–4 detectives take turns on one device. Each detective keeps their clues private in a personal dossier, then shares deductions with the team. Placements start as color-coded proposals; a second detective must confirm each mark.
Online co-op — Play with friends anywhere via Steam lobbies. Just share the room code and solve together.
Procedurally generated cases with selectable themes (mansion, cruise ship, brunch café, casino) and three difficulty sizes (7×7 easy, 9×9 medium, 11×11 hard).
Case timer with adjustable limits.
Manual deduction mode: cross out any cell yourself.
Full controller support: Navigate every menu and solve every case with a gamepad.
Furniture panel showing every object, orientation, and footprint in the current case.
Progress history and replay by seed for your favorite cases.
Interface in English and Spanish.

Good game, fun puzzles, lots of potential. When I got the game, there was no AI tag. Got it refunded as soon as I realised it's AI. No thank you, hire artists.
As a puzzle lover this scratches so many itches. It's a fun mix of logic puzzle and sudoku puzzle. The idea of difficulty levels is a misnomer. Consider "difficulty" to equal "time needed to solve". Harder difficulties just increase the size of the board and the number of suspects accordingly, but I didn't find that it changes the complexity of the clues at all. I recommend adding the "pick the murder weapon" game rule as well, as it makes the game feel more Clue(do) and adds another layer to the logic puzzle that is really fun. I highly recommend picking up this game if you like logic puzzles. You can't beat that price for a game with seemingly endless games.
CluDoku is an inventive mashup that blends the spatial logic of Sudoku, the clue driven deduction of Zebra Puzzles also known as Einsteins Riddle, and the twisty uncertainty of Two Truths and a Lie into one clean and clever puzzle experience. It feels immediately familiar yet completely new, and it rewards players who enjoy slow and thoughtful deduction. The game is built on clues, logic, and spatial reasoning. Each puzzle places you in one of four distinct locations filled with furniture, plants, windows, stairs, and a cast of suspects. You receive clues such as: “Albert was sitting on a chair.” “Diana was next to a window.” “Elliot was in the same room as Frank.” These clues provide positional truths, relational hints, and furniture descriptions, but never the entire picture. Your task is to determine where each suspect is sitting or standing through pure logic and careful elimination. As the title suggests, the influence of Sudoku is central. No suspect can see another suspect vertically or horizontally. This means each suspect must occupy a unique row and column, just as each number does in a Sudoku grid. As you cross off reference clues, you gradually carve out the only valid arrangement that satisfies every constraint. It's methodical and deeply rewarding. There are three difficulty settings, each adjusting the puzzle size and the number of suspects. Combined with the four locations, this gives you a wide range of puzzle layouts and clue styles. Every map is procedurally generated, which guarantees a completely new puzzle every time. There are no repeats and no memorization, only fresh deduction challenges that feel handcrafted thanks to the strength of the underlying logic design. CluDoku offers two distinct styles of play: Classic Mode This mode focuses entirely on pure deduction. Your only goal is to determine the location of each suspect. It is clean, focused, and perfect for puzzle purists. The culprit will always be in the same room as the victim. Investigation Mode This mode introduces a delightful twist. One suspect is lying, and you must determine which of the three (or four) weapons were used by identifying the liar. It adds a layer of psychological deduction that feels reminiscent of the boardgame Clue/Cluedo while remaining firmly grounded in logic. You can play using a mouse, keyboard, or game controller, with support for both local and cooperative online play. Each puzzle resets after three mistakes, and an optional timer can be enabled, though it’s off by default. The game includes English and Spanish translations and features 16 achievements. If you enjoy logic puzzles, deduction games, or anything that scratches the same itch as Clue, Sudoku, or classic logic grid riddles, CluDoku is an easy recommendation. It is endlessly replayable, and quietly addictive. This is pure AI slop. Didn't clock that before purchasing. Do not buy.
Low effort garbage. Not worth it, no matter how steep the discount.
AI Slop
I gave this game a fair bit of chance. Kinda wanna like the game but every time I play, it just hurts more and more. List of things I didn't like; AI SLOP No keybinding No undo button Difficulty scaling doesn't really make the game more difficult, it just adds more "suspects" More often than not, solving an investigation doesn't use TRUE LOGIC at all. No clue diversity in the detective's notebook. Clues given by "suspects" are limited to the following phrases: "I saw X at X location", "I don't remember X beside/at/on X", "The murder weapon is a/not/ X weapon", "X is closer to the Victim/Weapon than Victim/Weapon" In addition to that you only need "3 suspect clues" to find the murder weapon and in addition to that, Identifying the murder weapon is 50/50 at this point, I'm just playing to complete achievements. DON'T BOTHER BUYING EVEN IF ITS CHEAP. If you want something similar with more options and unique clues, play murdoku on murdoku.com
It feels empty and soulless. The concept is interesting, but there's no sense of progression or any kind of experience while playing. It's cheap but there are better indie games for that amount of money which feel like there's love and effort behind it.
Very cool concept for a game. I love it - especially the sounds and haptics! Would definitely recommend to any puzzle lovers out there that are looking for a new take on traditional sudoku :)
Missed the AI notice until I went to review it, but you can really feel it while playing (if you can call it "playing") - this sure is some bottom of the barrel, F-tier .·:*¨SLOP ¨*:·.
