About
SUPERANCHOR is a 2D physics puzzle game built around anchors and gravity. You cannot control the ball directly. Instead, you reposition the anchor to constantly change how the entire maze is suspended, causing it to rotate and swing under gravity as you use momentum to guide the ball toward the goal.
Place the anchor at a new position, and the entire maze will be suspended around that point. Walls, passages, the ball itself, and various mechanisms within the maze will all shift in position and motion as a result.
Observe the ball's speed and direction, anticipate changes in the maze's center of mass, and reposition the anchor at the right moment. A simple change in anchor placement might let the ball roll smoothly toward the exit—or send the entire maze into a violent swing, launching the ball in a completely different direction.
You cannot tell the ball to move left or right—you can only change the physical environment around it.
Every time you move the anchor, the forces acting on the maze change. Rotation creates new slopes, swinging builds momentum, collisions alter the ball's direction, and inertia may provide the final push needed to reach the goal.
Some levels require careful control, letting the ball move slowly through narrow passages. Others demand that you deliberately build up a high-speed swing and launch the ball over obstacles. The real question is not simply, “Where should I go?” but:
How can you make gravity do it for you?
SUPERANCHOR features a minimalist, high-contrast visual style designed to keep the focus on the maze's structure and physical motion. Scanlines, glitch effects, and terminal-inspired interfaces create a cold, abstract space where every rotation, collision, and moment of lost control is clearly visible.
