A really enjoyable jigsaw puzzle game with 30 city themed images you can solve on 4 difficulty levels (40, 80, 200 and 400 pieces). The images are nice except the Saint Petersburg one which is black and white and therefore incredibly annoying on 400 pieces. Other than that my only complaint would be that the difficulty of a jigsaw stated in game doesn't match reality for a lot of them in my experience, but you can just happily ignore that piece of info so it is kinda a non issue. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (7.0-6).
The next installment of the SJP franchise, this one brings yet more 30 levels more of traditional jigsaw puzzles, revolving around the diverse cities of the world (mostly in Europe though). “Cities” is my most favorite of the SJP stand-alones available; the images typically represent airview city-scape vistas or skyscraper panoramas, look really great and were generally fun to assemble for me. In all other regards this is exactly the same as the “Base” SJP: same principle, same difficulty levels, even same music. And sadly, same problem with the drag&drop controls, which makes any thoughts of replayability quickly go away.

Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Cities is a basic mobile app-tier finger swiping "jigsaw puzzle", as usual, a basic GameMaker Studio jigsaw puzzle engine and a bunch of images ripped off the internet and used without crediting the creators/owners. It's unclear how many of these images are used with permission, but none of them are credited. The game credits has "Flat Cat Games" as the sole creator, but that's clearly not true, so there's unethical practice taken place here. A serious accusation, so here's an example of one of the images the "developer" stole: Image With Vienna, Austria, City from stock image site, Pixabay. All the other images are likewise taken from the internet without credit or acknowledgement, making this an asset flip. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Cities might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game contains stock/store assets and other packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. While this isn't necessarily against the license for the use of those assets, claiming the work of others as your own is unethical. Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Cities has the far too high price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. That's the absolute state of "indie" game development today... charging $5 USD for someone else's photographs.
I completed one city and for some reason I cannot get other city.
