Having played this for 16 hours and seeing 9 of the 15 endings, yes 15 !!, I can sum this avn up fairly well. A huge amount of time and effort has been poured into this very polished title, the cg/renders, animation, writing and sound (yes sex sounds) are all very good, the music player is also a cut above the rest, choices really do matter and the walk thru / guide (part of the bought bundle), does really help. I only dislike 2 of the female characters; the rest are all stunning with slightly different traits. As good as i think this is I would only give it 3 out of 5 stars, the sex scenes don't provide anything you haven't already seen, blow job animations are a little weird in that the mc's ♥♥♥♥ is never rigid it's like the female is going down on a big sausage, the BIGGEST GRIPE, I have is the lack of decent action with the mc's girlfriend, during the story she asks to have an open relationship and yet DOES absolutely nothing with any "other" male, which is a huge missed opportunity, the only time you see her is at the start with the mc, masturbation scenes and the endings where she is involved with the mc and FFM action. So whilst the mc gets to shag anything that walks the girlfriend doesn't despite requesting an open relationship, very strange and "very" safe/vanilla !.
This game had potential, but it falls short too often for me to be able to recommend it right now. The story is okay, and I was going to try to finish it just to see what happens, but I can't even play the game now because it constantly crashes. I guess that's my cue to give up on this one. I'll list the biggest other issues I had below. I might be willing to give the game another shot if at least some of these are fixed in the future and the dang game stops crashing every time I run it. 1. The pacing. You can be in the middle of a scene and then suddenly BOOM it's a few days later and there was never anything in between to indicate that time had passed. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't happen constantly, especially during the prologue. 2. The dialogue. So much of the writing is repetitive and boring. My understanding is that English is not the dev's first language, and that's totally fine, but the script could really use an editor to fix all the grammar issues too. 3. The audio. When I first launched the game, it didn't have any audio at all. The "soundtrack" is mostly a bunch of EDM on repeat and gets old very quickly. This wouldn't be as big of an issue if I could disable certain tracks. If there are supposed to be sound effects, they certainly aren't working on the current version of the game.
Sunshine Love is a game I spent many hours with, but in the end I could not finish it. The premise is genuinely interesting. The hotel setting, the family/business angle, the relaxed summer atmosphere and the overall idea of building relationships around that environment are all very appealing. There is definitely a good game here, and at first it has a lot of charm. The problem is that the game overstays its welcome. It stretches itself too much, with long conversations, too much dialogue, and side plots that are not always interesting enough to justify how much time they take. After many hours, the pacing started to feel exhausting rather than immersive. The adult content also gets repetitive after a while. It is not bad, but there is not enough variety to keep it feeling fresh across such a long game. **Specifically, there is a glaring lack of variety in the character bodies; the genitalia and physical structures are virtually identical because the same base models were used for all the women.** After dozens of hours, the scenes start to lose impact because the visual variety is limited and the formula becomes predictable. That is a shame, because the setup is really good. I wanted to stay invested, and I liked the hotel story a lot, but the game simply became too long for its own good. It could have been much stronger with tighter pacing, less filler and more variety. Still, I recommend it with some reservations. If you want a long visual novel with a lot of reading, a pleasant setting and a huge amount of content for the price, Sunshine Love offers a lot of value. Just understand that it is a slow, dialogue-heavy game, and for me personally, it eventually became too stretched out to finish. 6/10
GREAT GAME!
Very interesting very fun game couple with a hidden secret finding aspect. Story is fantastic, a lot of twists turns, mystery, and suspense. Graphics are quite cute and the story is easy to follow with real motions at times. A friendly suggestion, since this has ultimate replayability, you can go through it a few times, focus on content first or your eyes will go wonky trying to find the hidden donuts and eggs at the same time.
A pleasant novella about love, without any particular perversions, but sexy. Beautiful, sweet girls and women. Some especially. And VERY nice music in the background.
Chapter 1 has been interesting altough with some long moments. Pretty good overall
Nope...hours of play (off Steam mostly) and between the stupid point system requirements, and a save block for a single player game. (Which to me is really stupid on the devs part) I can't recommend this game. I had the walkthroughs and even with them I somehow ended up 17 points shy of getting a good ending with Ashley's daughter. I guess I missed a paragraph in the walkthrough somehow and poof hours just wasted. I did enjoy it for many hours, but the last few were just watching the numbers and knowing I somehow messed up somewhere, so it was all ruined by getting the bad ending first. I don't play these games again after that happens. (Bad ending first) It a no from me, but on a deep discount and following the walkthrough exactly paragraph by paragraph and word for word, it might be fine for someone else.
Story is okay. Biggest downside is that there is no "choices" in this game. All the choices are basically just checks if you bought the walkthrough as you have no idea how many points you need for anything without it. Sex scenes are very repetitive. Played through all chapters. Review is the same for for chapter 1 as the others.
Fantastic story...had me shedding tears. And other aspects of the game are great as well.
