Hi Devs! there are only 59 reviews so all you devs will gonna see it! 😂😂😂
This game is extremely annoying. I am trying to accept quests and the dialog keeps restarting and glitching. I'm moving on...
Before I played Sunset World Online, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Honestly the game would feel better without the lag. As some people would say it would be latency, this is literally the only game I have played that will have damage lag when attacking an enemy. You cant experience Expeditions as people are not on here much to do them and it even says in the description you can experience the game solo. You cannot do it all alone so that needs to be changed. The combat feels weird and it will take you awhile to get used to where your attacks go. Sometimes it feels like your attack should hit and it does not. Secondly, the abilities are linear as you just need to reach a level to attain them. As this game isn't something I would recommend just yet, it does come with some decent ideas that make this game unique. While some games retain the skill tree for stats, this game has gear you equip that give bonuses to your damage for certain types of range etc. I think this is a good idea and I feel like they should expand on it. I do also recommend them looking into the servers as while some people are able to play and maybe able to enjoy the game, some will get disconnected and just quit without trying to play at all. Another thing to work on are the skills that require you to have teammates to use. Placing a bomb on a teammates feels a little off and since you are the damage as a fire user then you should be the one up close to attack and have the bomb on you so I feel like it should be placed on you instead. The biggest complaint I have is just starting off, you go to the forest and immediately find a mob that is the same as something from Maplestory. Also the game just rips off the elements and how they use them from Avatar and makes it fight just like Maplestory does. AND BEFORE PEOPLE START SAYING A LOT OF GAMES DO THIS AND USE IDEAS FROM OTHER GAMES ---- TAKE A LOOK AT THOSE RABBITS IN THE FOREST AND TELL ME ITS NOT COPIED FROM MAPLESTORY! EASTER CHAIRS TURNED INTO MOBS!!!! As a game that had a decent new concept, completely and utterly disappointed you couldnt just make bad looking slimes and put them in. A game using ideas is one thing but literally you basically changed the look just a very tiny bit and put them in your game. great game on pc however my wife plays on mobile and the joystick is pretty bad
Game seems interesting, but doesn’t tell you where to go or what to do, which would be fine if there was a community/wiki, which there currently isn’t. More players would be cool; other than that it seems very grind heavy. The first few quests are all about killing 20-40 monsters of the same type, with 1-2 damaging abilities. If you’re not in a group it takes time and some dodging but isn’t hard. Items don’t drop very often so save your money. Hint: get around 200 coins and use the slot machine. A lot. If you do you can get some items that make coins appear on hit which greatly increase your money farming rate.
Im normally one to bare with anything thats handed too me. But this game, is another story. the biggest problems im seeing here is that the very first main quest is for the very first expedition, ive been in Queue for over 2 hours now. Noone plays the game, so i cant complete my main quest.....Kekw #2 The mobs spawn fast and have no aggro range, they just attack you constantly over and over again, to the point you cant complete even a side quest because the mobs are just harassing you and spawn 5 seconds after you kill them all. #3 The quest dialogue is slow, and when its your turn to answer, you better be quick cause if you dont answer within half a second it restarts all the dialogue over again. #4 Right from the get go, i was getting +50/+100 gold from quests, well. No i didnt because for some weird reason you just dont get your quest gold so youre nerfed right out the gate. #5 I live in NA which is dead center on there (latency/lag map they have on steam) well, there is still times where my attacks dont trigger damage and mobs walk right through my attacks. #6 A lot of entrances/exits of the maps with no markings showing that its an entrance or exit. For example the first thing i did was go into a tavern, went into the basement and got lost. was pitch black and honestly a really bad experience for just getting out of the tutorial. The exits didnt highlight or show the "E" to leave so i was pretty stumped on how to get back out since when you go down the ladder and go down even a single floor, your stuck going the rest the way. Or just die i guess. Other than that, so far its a neat fun game. Doesnt hold your hand and can be challenging depending on which class you pick. If youre looking for something to waste a nights worth of time, this might be for you.
This game does have serious potential. It's your classic 2D side scroller. I am being easy on the game for the time being as it is in early access (beta, I presume). I can't judge too harshly on this game and say it's the worst, or it sucks due to its infancy. The overall, I have a lot of fun with this game. Grinding to get better gear and beating difficult bosses on equally fun stages. However, the game does still need some work. Grinding can be a little more than a chore, quests can be a little misleading, but they generally tell you what you need to do. There isn't much in game information as to what spells do, passive abilities on items, cast ranges, and the like. But I'm willing to give it a chance because they might release that information soon and may just need better descriptions. There are more features coming soon to the game; and looking at the game's Discord (https://discord.gg/eMbcWy8J), they generally update it about once a month. They have "coming soon" to trading, more of the map opening up, and the idea of PvP has been tossed around on the Discord. The Discord is a small, generally active community, and the Devs regularly look/check on player suggestions and do take feedback. Here's to the future of this game! I hope it stays!
