Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Sep 10 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Sunken Engine is a ship repair simulation game with a distinctive Lovecraftian atmosphere. After your father’s untimely death, you must keep the business you inherited alive. This means not only repairing ships but also keeping customers satisfied, maintaining the town’s order, and uncovering the mysteries your father left behind. Yet every new ship brings new challenges and ominous secrets.

The supernatural events you face during daily work will threaten your sanity. Losing your mental balance not only makes your job harder but may also attract the attention of dark entities. To survive, you must find ways to protect your mind, continue your work, and keep your wits if you wish to discover your father’s true legacy.
Repairing is not the only way to sustain your business. You can sell valuable loot recovered from the sea at the stall behind your shop. The economy is difficult for everyone in town; you must care for your family while keeping the business alive. Sometimes, this means stepping beyond conventional ways to earn profit.
Your town is located in the middle of a busy sea route. Ships of various sizes and types dock for repairs, and it is your duty to meet the captains’ needs. Fixing damages is vital not just for your business but for the safety of the entire region. Yet some repairs may require more than just your tools…
You can renovate and improve your shop as you wish. By customizing your tools, workspace, and decorations, you can impress customers and bring to life the workshop your father once dreamed of.
As you progress, you’ll learn to repair more ships and, with new licenses, take on more complex work. Each license opens the door to new types of ships and new challenges. But remember: not every ship is just a repair job—some bring with them dark stories and sinister secrets. Be cautious…

Good stuff lots of fun
TLDR: Game has great vibes, cool art style, and a couple good scares, but you will beat it very fast & get to experience little to none of the cool powers if you don't take your time. This game is great. Little rough around the edges like most indie games. But overall a great game. I feel the description of the game is a little deceptive. There is less of a mystery on each ship, and more of a you work on random ships in a sort of cultic/haunted town. This game has a lot of charm, and cool features like many different ship repairs, and balancing a personal market while working on ships, while also having cool eldritch powers to help. But none of the matters as much, the main reason people should play this is the vibe, these sort of spooky blue collar job games like this & shift at midnight all feel a little similar, but this one has really cool Call of Cthulhu art & scares. There is nothing more fun that working on a boat only to hear breathing, turn around, and see a gigantic leviathan peaking over the side staring at you, just to disappear a split second later. Also while the shadow people w/ red eye got old quick, the door answering spooks can be really cool & unique. But for anyone playing this I have one piece of advice, USE YOUR POWERS & take the game slow. When you get to the end of the game, you lose you cool powers, and w/ the speed I made money, I had like all the upgrades & perks in the first week & a half. So the game will go by quick, and you may lose out on the occult powers before you even really get the scarce materials to use them. Haunted ships don't pull in often & you usually only get 1 item for 1 spell. So I never got to use anything other than the storm, and summon ship spell. I played about 10 hours and that is while just messing around too. Overall this is the only complaint I really have too, I feel like the blue prince cruise ship is also a little boring w/ little horror and not much content to help you out on the main island, just feels like a bit of a time padding side activity, other than to get the artifact didn't really give me any incentive to go back. I also know that a lot of people find the ship repair tedious, but I tried to treat every ship like a racecar pit crew & fly around fixing as many as I could a day, think that helped w/ the tedium and make it more fun, would recommend playing this way. Overall though this is a great, semi rough, but cool stylistic short game. I hope the devs do well w/ this one and continue to add content & bugfixes in the future.

Cleaned ships, caught some fish, chilled. Nice game.
very good and epic
Really enjoyed the playthrough, insanely addicting gameplay loop. Highly recommend!
Absolutely in love. It's got so many elements of so many games I love- Forgive Me Father, Dredge, so many more. A fun work sim/shop management game that also just so happens to be spooky as all heck. Can't believe I never found this one before yesterday.
Extremely fun. If repetitious. Playing my way through since they entered early access. The optimization they had to do to make it playable on the steam deck simplified things a lot, but it is fun. Just remember to clear that fire out fast enough!
