Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Sep 10 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Sunken Engine is a ship repair simulation game with a distinctive Lovecraftian atmosphere. After your father’s untimely death, you must keep the business you inherited alive. This means not only repairing ships but also keeping customers satisfied, maintaining the town’s order, and uncovering the mysteries your father left behind. Yet every new ship brings new challenges and ominous secrets.

The supernatural events you face during daily work will threaten your sanity. Losing your mental balance not only makes your job harder but may also attract the attention of dark entities. To survive, you must find ways to protect your mind, continue your work, and keep your wits if you wish to discover your father’s true legacy.
Repairing is not the only way to sustain your business. You can sell valuable loot recovered from the sea at the stall behind your shop. The economy is difficult for everyone in town; you must care for your family while keeping the business alive. Sometimes, this means stepping beyond conventional ways to earn profit.
Your town is located in the middle of a busy sea route. Ships of various sizes and types dock for repairs, and it is your duty to meet the captains’ needs. Fixing damages is vital not just for your business but for the safety of the entire region. Yet some repairs may require more than just your tools…
You can renovate and improve your shop as you wish. By customizing your tools, workspace, and decorations, you can impress customers and bring to life the workshop your father once dreamed of.
As you progress, you’ll learn to repair more ships and, with new licenses, take on more complex work. Each license opens the door to new types of ships and new challenges. But remember: not every ship is just a repair job—some bring with them dark stories and sinister secrets. Be cautious…

Too much bug to recommand this game ATM (update 7.0), not even a minute in I had an overlapping text in the option menu, lauching the game and same problem with UI overlapping, taking my first contract I stopped cause the game does not register the things I aim at properly so I couldn't even wash the floor of a dinghy, not mentionning the clams levitating on it.... Could be fun but all those bugs make it infuriating to play, please fix this before adding any content for the love of the depth gods.

The game is really fun,. You clean ships, and as you progress, the ships get bigger and more challenging. There’s also fishing, upgrading your stats and items, and uncovering secrets in the story. I really like how the game is built the story is very interesting.
There is no AI here, quit being a knee-jerking ♥♥♥♥. The core loop of the game is pretty good for one of these "mundane job sims". I love the feel of the game, it's creepy and every so often you get a soft jump scare. That may be my sole issue, when one happens, you're not always sure WHY you are losing sanity, you got the noise, the screen went weird, but I didn't SEE anything. I think stuff like this really should trigger like the Enderman in Minecraft. You have to LOOK at it to get the trigger. Outside of that, the game goes as fast or slow as you want. My first play did not take very long, but I missed a LOT. My second, I took my time and am thoroughly enjoying my time. I am not going to ding them for the following, it's on me. Before the Underwater update, I could play for hours on end. Since that update, as a thalassophobe , it's PAINFUL to go underwater in this world. I have hardly ever been able to push through and this feels like a brick wall. It's dark, it's spooky, and it all adds up to me being unable to play what was easily one of my favorite games of this type. Not their fault, I bought a ship cleaning horror game. But a quick note to anyone else who suffers: This game is rough when it comes to water. Fishing and walking the skinny docks was bad enough, but now you have to get in it to scrape clams and starfish. 8/10 game, unless water bothers you.
Its real fun and kind of relaxing.
Игра очень понравилась, даже сюжет.
Fun game to play with the twist of Lovecraft horror. It's not gory or bloody, but just the right amount to make to keep you freaked out. Some of the missions are a little long and take time to finish. Over all its a fun game.
This game has a learning curve and some tweaking needed but I love this game! After game completed; - cannot access the quest ship -cannot catch horror fish(I get it, though.) -have hotspots to use the Necronomicon popping up after game completion -the altar is essentially useless I'm gonna do another playthrough <3
What I liked most is how the game mixes relaxing activities with a darker atmosphere. Repairing the ship is satisfying, but there are also enough other things to do that it never feels too repetitive. Fishing, taking care of the shop, and discovering new things around the world all help keep the gameplay interesting. The atmosphere is probably the strongest part for me. It has a cozy side, but there’s always something a little strange going on in the background, which makes you want to keep exploring and see what happens next. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to sit down and play for a while without feeling stressful. There’s already a solid foundation here and I’m curious to see how it develops over time. Definitely worth checking out if this kind of game is your thing.
I loved the initial demo and its stylings. What seems to be happening is a worsening of the game mechanics as the updates progress. I've played for 14 hours am level 68, but feel that the game has lost some of its early fun and pizzazz. The game almost lost me during its Blue Prince update. I just feel that they had an interesting story but forgot to do anything with it. It feels disjointed. Don't waste your money on a game that lacks any real substance. Maybe by the time 1.0 comes along they'll have improved, but until them give it a pass.
