Succubus of Aphrodisia Chapter One: Ako's First Embrace

С чего бы начать обзор на эту игру... с того что написание обзора может занять больше времени чем прохождение игры! Без шуток, игра сверхкороткая, а ведь я как любитель извращений читал эти оскароносные диалоги. Которые к слову достаточно посредственно переведены на русский. Но если вы все таки решите купить эту игру, не волнуйтесь - скучно вам станет уже примерно спустя 20 минут и вы начнете их пропускать. Просто потому что из характеров у персонажей тут... ничего. Но это же КЛУБНИКА-ГЕЙМИНГ! Зачем нам эти ваши сюжеты, персонажи, характеры, мы тут ради сцен которые потом тайно сохраняем в папочку под названием - курсач. Ну, при такой длительности игры очевидно что сцен мало. Чертовски мало. Некоторые по своему изобретательны. Но общее уныние повествования убивает настрой даже в клубничковых сценах. А как итог... если вы купили эту игру на распродаже за цену 50 рублей, то.... делайте рефанд и посмотрите сцены в интернетах. За меньшие цены люди делают гораздо более шикарные клубнико-игры.

Неплохая игра, с вменяемым балансом цены и качества. Даже немного жаль что история обрывается и шанс на продолжение почти нулевой. В плане геймплея это чистая ВНка и каких-то активностей нет, да и к тому же игра короткая, но к счастью, героиня и сюжет вытягивают ситуацию и неплохо доставляют в процессе. Сюжет про суккуба-новичка, которую отправили в одно лицо захватывать королевство, оказался на удивление интересным и забавным, особенно когда этот "гном метр с кепкой" начинает посреди улицы маниакально разоряться про захват мира и порабощение людишек. Что до хентая, то тут все скудно, но качественно. Пять полностью анимированных сцен с настройкой одежды и происходящего процесса. Ну и бонусом еще имеются сценки трансформации лоли-карлана в сочную милфу, что выполнены так же качественно и красиво. Прочитав про использование ИИ при разработке, ожидал очередной нейромусор. Однако нет, разработчики не наврали и легкая халтура ощущается только в переводе на русский, все же машина не всегда разумеет контекст, роды и падежи. В остальном это пусть и короткая, но интересная история с яркой главной героиней. Дополнительным и плюсом, и минусом могу назвать тот факт что игру можно пройти на 100% менее чем за 2 часа. Если посчитаете что игра не отбила своей полной цены в 200р, то сможете спокойно их вернуть. Мне понравились история, визуал и конечно отбитая главная героиня, а значит денег потраченных не жаль, ведь игра смогла подарить интересный и приятный вечер. Желаю разработчикам продолжать творить и надеюсь на выход второй части, побольше и получше!

To start; I don't play VNs because with games I look for gameplay first. So I'm coming at this from an outsider POV. I have, however completed the game - receipts? 100% achievement completion. Coming from LC my support was always primarily due to the type of game it is, the consistent development, the community engagement, and finally the competence and talent I see in the team. A team that I have a friendly relationship with two of its members. I received the game via a key through patreon. This is just to establish a baseline and get my biases out of the way and stated clearly. --- Now for SOA in particular The Dino flavour and style is apparent from scene 1 - a short establishing section which lays out the basic terms and premise of the game from our POV and doesn't take itself seriously. For me this was an immediate positive, it didn't take overly long and it got the necessary pre-story/worldbuilding basics out. The dialogue choices are largely for flavour, which is fine. There are even points where those choices can fit in nicely with your read of the protagonist, they weren't overly contradictory but more "In my estimation Ako is confused and stumbling, but in THIS particular situation she's overconfident and maybe even to her detriment". It flows well enough and your own read of the characters will influence the options you choose. Thumbs up out of X number of thumbs. Ako is voice acted very well, and she is also the only voiced character which is something I liked. I could quickly read other dialogue while letting Ako's lines be acted instead of potentially feeling like I'm losing out on others' voices. I'm not a speed reader by any means, so this isn't to toot my own horn. Dino's art and the exaggerated and thick lineart combined with the backgrounds give the experience what I would best describe as a "popup book" aesthetic. It looks great and it's worth looking at and taking in - as long as the style appeals to you. Ako is characterised well. Beginning in a weakened basic state and evolving - literally - throughout the story. Her form, her power, and her confidence (or overconfidence) grow and change. We're just about as clueless as she is about the ways of the world in the beginning, but with enough foreknowledge and experience to keep us ahead of her. Her evolution really is literal, too. At the open she is smaller and cuter in stature, and her voice and dialogue match this. And as we continue she grows, again literally, into a more sexually and physically confident form along with her dialogue and the delivery by the VA. I personally really liked this aspect, the VA is great and She carried the character throughout her progression on top of being sufficiently seductive and/or sexy when it was called for. In short, she carries Ako and IS Ako. Now the H-Scenes. They're okay. They're paced well in their placement in the story and they tend to be moments of payoff either in meta (YOU are horny) or in plot (SHE is horny and/or in need of it). Some dialogue or even just an internal monologue from Ako herself would help to carry these scenes much better. But being H-Scenes they must only include HER VA. A lot of the titillation going into and coming out of the scenes is carried by the narrative, with is a good sign for something that is story-first. Not being personally familiar with VNs I can only speak from my own estimation, which is that the price is great for what it is. I got it through patreon where I've been a member for a long time now, but $7.50AUD seems more than fair enough for the length. To close. I liked it a lot, and maybe I actually could learn to get into VNs after having this positive experience.

My only critique is that it was way too short, looking forward to more.

Как по мне единственный минус это то что она короткая. Надеюсь разработчики продолжат игру и сделают её длинней.

Short, only ~6 sex scenes which are all super basic, no meaningful decision making. Wasn't interested in the story or characters.

The art is good and the MC's voicework is surprisingly great - they picked a very charming VA for her. Just wish other characters got voicework too. This is clearly the first part of a multi part story, and for the most part the player is along for the ride. If you're looking for depth of choice or gameplay mechanics, you won't find it, but at the very least what you get is good quality, which you can't say for a lot of H-games.

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but this turned out to be a really fun ride. The art is gorgeous, Ako’s voice acting gives her so much personality, and the whole vibe of the world feels way more fleshed out than I thought it would for a short game. The choices actually matter too — I replayed a couple times and got different endings, which made it feel worth going back. The transformation stuff is handled in a cool way, you really feel like Ako is growing into her role as a succubus. Adult scenes are animated really well (way above average for this genre), and they don’t feel tacked on — they’re part of the story progression. It’s short, yeah, but that’s kind of the point: you can finish it in an evening and still feel satisfied. If you’re into visual novels with a mix of atmosphere, choices, and some very polished adult content, this one’s definitely worth checking out!
