Subnautica: Below Zero

A lot of people seen to not like this game and I'll admit that the first one is by far way better. But, it's a really high bar. The first Subnautica is one of my favorite games of all time so I was pretty excited to play this game. The map is significantly smaller but the new atmosphere and snowy areas feel fresh and not just like a reskin of the first game. The creatures are pretty unique and the story is compelling. There are two leviathan creatures that absolutely stand out over the rest and are just so incredible to discover yourself, I highly recommend playing this game blind. This is a really good game and if you liked the first one you'll like this one.

While it doesn't capture the lightning in a bottle that was the first Subnautica game, Below Zero brings enough fresh ideas to the table that I think anyone who really loved the first game can enjoy this one thoroughly.
