StudyHub is a really relaxing little productivity game that I found surprisingly useful. Instead of trying to turn studying into some kind of complicated game, it gives me a peaceful digital workspace where I can simply sit down and get things done. I can spend time at my desk, set up a study session and use the different tools while enjoying a quiet atmosphere. It is a pretty simple concept, but I liked how focused the whole experience feels. The main feature for me is the built in timer and stopwatch. I can start a study session and leave it running while I work on whatever I actually need to do outside the game. There is also a to do list where I can keep track of tasks, which makes StudyHub feel more useful than just having a character sitting at a virtual desk. I liked being able to keep everything together instead of constantly switching between different applications. Sticky notes are another small feature that I found useful. I can put reminders, goals or motivational messages around my desk, which makes the workspace feel more personal. There are also daily tasks and an experience system that gives me a little bit of progression for actually using the productivity tools. It is not deep progression, but I think it works because I am not really playing StudyHub for traditional game mechanics in the first place. The atmosphere is probably what makes the whole idea work. The environment is cozy and minimalist, and the StudyHub Radio provides lo fi music while I work. I found this much more pleasant than simply using a basic timer because there is something nice about having a little virtual space that I can return to. The social side is also interesting, since the game is designed around the idea of working alongside people from around the world rather than completely isolating myself. The biggest problem for me is that the current Early Access version still feels quite limited. There is not a huge amount to do once I have used the main productivity tools, and some of the more interesting ideas are still planned for future updates. The developers have talked about expanding the library, adding private rooms, group study sessions, more character customization, desk decoration, a cafe and break time activities. Those additions could make StudyHub feel much more like a complete digital campus. I also think it is important to approach StudyHub as a productivity tool rather than a conventional game. If I expect lots of objectives, combat, exploration or traditional progression, I am probably going to be disappointed. For me, the appeal comes from having a calm place where I can set a task, start a timer and stay focused. The fact that it is free to play also makes it very easy to try without having to commit to anything. Overall, I think StudyHub is a nice idea that already works well in its current form, even though it clearly has room to grow. The timer, to do list, sticky notes and relaxing music give me enough tools to make it useful, while the social workspace gives it a little more personality than a normal productivity application. I would like to see the planned features arrive because they could make the experience much more interesting, but even now I found it a pleasant place to sit down and focus. It is simple, peaceful and genuinely useful when I want to get some work done. Rating: 6.3/10

Puntos a favor: - Es acogedor.

Without the MMO game. Or really the MM part at all.
