[h1]Spaß aus der Vergangenheit?[/h1] Eigentlich eine schöne Idee, die [i]bgnaturetrip[/i] aus Bulgarien da umgesetzt haben: Ein kleines Spiel, um die Landmarken und historischen Orte an der südlichen bulgarischen Schwarzmeerküste zu präsentieren. Über die Ästhetik im PS 1-Look der frühen 3D-Adventure lässt sich streiten, über die Umsetzung hier eher weniger. [b]Kantig, ungenau, hässlich[/b] Dass der Look der frühen 3D-Platformer für viele schlecht gealtert ist, kann ich verstehen. Warum man als Spieleentwickler diesen Retrostil auswählt, um die sicher wunderbare Landschaft Südbulgariens in Szene zu setzen, erscheint mir zumindest fragwürdig. Nun gut. Leider hakt es an anderen Stellen, die einen Spielspaß nicht recht aufkommen lassen wollen: Die Steuerung ist ungenau, was zusammen mit der fixierten 3rd-Person-Kameraperspektive zu willkürlichen Kampfhandlungen mit Ebern, mythischen Wesen und anderem Getier führt. Die Hüpf-/Ausweichpassagen sind zumindest als nett zu bezeichnen, wenn auch hier die Kamera ihren Anteil zum Misserfolg beiträgt. Schlussendlich kann man froh sein, wenn man das Ende eines Levels erreicht, zwischendurch komplettiert das Malheur nur noch das garstige Lachen eines rumstehenden Satyrs, der als Tippgeber fungiert. Kaum. Spielerisch holt das Spiel wohl keinen so schnell hinter dem Ofen hervor; ich habe nach 2 der 5 Level abgebrochen. Ich denke aber, dass auch der „bildende“ Effekt ins Leere stößt. Denn der historische Hintergrund zweier thrakischer Stämme und dem thrakischen Orakel wird zwar mittels Text erzählt, Figuren und Wesen bleiben aber unbekannt und könnten auch aus jedem Fantasy-Werk stammen. Und das mit der Grafik und ihrer ästhetischen Wirkung hatten wir ja schon. Immerhin habe ich so das durchaus erstaunliche und mir bisher unbekannte thrakische Heiligtum von Beglik Tash entdeckt, ein, wie mir scheint, faszinierender Ort. Overall a nice family friendly game with a colorful low poly artstyle. Positive is the humorous part of this title; Next to the silly satyr the gameplay can offer other comedic moments due to its artstyle and character designs. The controls are easy to learn. A few jumping parts can be a bit tricky for beginner gamers. The bossfights are not frustrating. In total Strandzha Adventures 3D was a fun experience. Hopefully there will be a sequel with more adventures.

Very cool adventure platformer. reminds me of the old nintendo 64 games. i haven't felt such nostalgic feelings for a long time :)

It brought back memories of games from the 2000s. How quickly time flies... + atmosphere + retro graphics + lots of fun Wait a minute. Who stole my PS1??????

Pros: Use my long sword and smash anything that comes my way: pots, wild boars, evil gnomes. as well as collect gold coins cons: falling into a pit :( Actually, it's quite different from the genre I prefer. I noticed the retro style, but I didn't experience the high level of nostalgia I thought I would. It's probably something that kids and women can play. a good game. not many of those nowadays.

They’re pretty janky, but it’s very simple overall. Controls aren’t great, they’re okay. I think there are like, three normal enemies that you’ll see, plus maybe four or five bosses. Mostly you just club them quickly to get rid of them, since the enemy AI is simple. There’s not a lot here, but you could play it. Look, it’s not a good game, but for a random Bulgarian tourist agency game? It’s okay. Just don't run out of lives. Reminds me of cereal box or dollar general games

Ive been a fan of the strandzha series ever since strandzha and knuckles for the Bulgarian Genesis and so I couldn't wait to see strandzha in 3D. The last entry outsourced development to japan (kojima production's death strandzhing) and was a huge letdown so I'm happy to see a proper Bulgarian developer taking the beloved series back to its roots. Strandzha Adventures 3D really transports the player into Bulgaria the same way Sekiro really feels like Japan or Doom really feels like hell. The game is rife with erudite symbolism and insightful social commentary - for instance collecting 681 Obekti is a reference to the founding of bulgaria in 681, and Strandzha holding his sword backwards is a brilliant metaphor for Bulgaria's commitment to looking stupid and hurting itself. Every child in Bulgaria grew up with a creepy goat pervert leering at them and i really appreciate BGNatureTrip's commitment to realism by including him on the cover. It's not just realistic it's also fun! The game incorporates elements from the Real Time Strandzha game Romania: Total War which Real Gamers will appreciate. Strandzha Adventures 3D captures the essence of Bulgaria so well that I had to frequently pause to check if my car was being stolen. 10/10

pov: my dreams at 40 degrees. ok. it seems like this lesno goat doesn't look all that welcoming, but maybe..... haha on the other hand, it's another opportunity to reminisce about “where's my 2007?” or maybe even earlier. I love obstacle courses and I enjoyed this one the most. look at that long log that goes in circles..... Even though I love STEALTH, sometimes I had to fight. + unique graphics. you can't find them anymore... this amazing retro style. I love it. but even more I love collecting BIG GOLD MONETS haha. waiting for the second part of the narrative and the VR version. *cautious* beware of deep dug holes.
