I remember thinking about playing this game with my friends, after seeing them all do many full-server games together. I wanted to join. and was wondering what I was missing out on. Eventually, I got my chance; when only 3 people were playing. i downloaded the game as soon as I could, joined the lobby, and played my first rounds. And after playing, I have to say... MAN, this game is fun!!! The movement in this game is fun, the characters move absurdly fast and game gives free speed boosts as well for sliding, so everything feels amazingly hectic. The guns are amazing; half of them feel like they're barely able to tickle you/the opponent and have so much spread that you have to strategize on how to properly position yourself and get up and close to the enemy in order to win, the other half actually have good aim but only deal great damage to the target if you or your enemy get a headshot at which point whoever has the best aim and quicker reaction time can make any player basically deleted from the game with how much damage it does. The maps are also amazingly creative; some maps can be really interesting, and the others are just awesome arenas. Straftat also feels like it balances perfectly between a tactical shooter and movement shooter. No example shows this better than the leaning mechanics They're difficult to use, a little scary, but at least they allow you to peek around comers right? Well, yeah, thats the whole point! The strategizing in this game is amazing and due to the movement mechanics you can typically just as easily find a flank route around someone peeking and shoot them from there, or even just move so fast around the corner that the person peeking can't even react before they're being shot at. It's like the game knows what makes tactical gameplay so good and rewards you if you can properly pull it off, but made just running with spray and pray a good option if your into that too. On a GREAT note, this game is free, but that's where the notes end in my opinion. Overall, the game just feels fun. You wont have a better time elsewhere.
