дуже гарна графіка
This game is a miss but it did have potential for higher. Outlook of the game is very nice and oil rig as theme is one that is less used in gaming. Problem of this game are primarly two things. 1. it constantly puts story over gameplay and main game design principle is to never ever overshadow gameplay with story. If you have so big desire to tell a story where player has zero freedom then Make A Movie. Videogames are about escaping reality and offering ways to express yourself. So restricting the player is not the way to go. 2. Had this not been a horror game but a walking sim or so it would have fucntioned atleast bit better. The horror aspect of this game was very cringe. Mostly it's about running away from something that chases you. There was a scene somewhat early on where I was proceeding in a dark corridor and the atmosphere was kinda alright but then the game starts trying too hard. I was neutral state, meaning not scared nor completely relaxed. I said "when i walk from that, something happens" and so it did. It made a sound about some collapsing metal or some and that right there, that was where I started feeling bad about this game. It's too predictable. So you see as the game is over focused on story and is fully predictable and the enemies are more annoying than scary or interesting, you have a problem with your game. I told already how the story aspect in this game is in way too high focus. The environments did look great and sound design of this game was quite alright. Still Wakes The Deep uses Wwise sound system and there was actual sound design in play where bigger areas have serious echo and reverbation effect in them. Occlusion is also present so a closed door muffles the sounds coming from otherside and opening the door brings the sounds more crisp. Very nice touch. But most of the modern gameplay elements just keep getting in your way.
