An amazing story game. I love how the game takes inpiration from the movie The Thing and gameplay from Alien Isolation. It has a great and emocional story, good ambience and an amazing voice acting. The gameplay is mostly just a walking simulator with a few puzzles and scary moments but still not bad. Recomended. 8.5/10

I don't write a lot of reviews so I'm going to keep it short. This was by far one of the most terrifying yet beautiful games I have ever played. I put this off because I am terrified of the ocean but this game was worth pushing through the fear. If you are a fan of horror or even just games with amazing stories play Still Wakes the Deep.

It was a good horror game and definitely worth a play. However there is a glaring flaw with this game. You as the character moves so incredibly slow, even when running. While this is not necessarily a flaw by itself, it sure can be annoying. Where this works to a great disadvantage is when it comes to enemies. The enemies in this game are all incredibly faster than you, you simply cannot escape if they see you. HOWEVER, there is chase scenes and the transition into a chase usually followed an area in which you hide from the monster and must run to the exit, but you know that if you try to just run to the exit you will be killed because you are so slow. So for these chase scenes they slow down the monster so that it is only capable of keeping pace with you. There were at least 2 cases in which the monster is staring down the exit waiting for you to go down it but I felt (because of the speed difference) that I would not make it. So I spent a bunch of extra time contemplating when it was intended that I just ran.
